Nothing wrong with going back to the roots when everything was sweet and innocent. I even gave a nod to it in my piece, with the 'little wing' broch on Liara's jacket. But I reckon most people were too busy staring at other things to notice...

We had a minor discussion about revealing images in the last Liara topic in the ME2 character discussion forums. We figured certain images in other threads (I seem to recall Kaidan and FemShep) that were much more revealing than those on the previous page, and those weren't commented on or locked by mods. Besides, nothing is really shown in those images so I doubt it'll cause any trouble. *Crosses fingers*

Also I think the first Liara thread got locked due to length. 2nd Liara thread was locked after lots of spam. 3rd thread is still open in the ME2 forums but was pretty much abandoned because most people come here rather than to the ME2 forums nowadays...

Haha you don't see a lot of benezia art, this is pretty good.
I wonder if there will be conversations about her Mother in ME3, I know liara kind of closed the topic, but i think it would be interesting to hear more about Benezia.

The comic was very touching, I love how it ended, and how Shepard sort of struggles with her feelings for Liara.

I don't know if making either Liara or the VS romanceable for those that did not in ME1 is a good idea.  I'm sure we will get that choice, but I don't think that is a choice we need in the game.  What is the point exactly?  To pander to those that didn't play either ME or ME2?  I am not even sure if I like the idea of a new romance in ME3 for Shepard in the first place.  Even a s/s one.  And I've always wanted that from the beginning.

I'm afraid if BioWare makes it where Liara can be romanced if you didn't before, every Shepard I've created will end up with her.    But then, is that really a bad thing?

If they wind up being romanceable again in ME3. I will undoubtly do the Liara romance if only to see how it plays out. But I don't think I will do it otherwise.

Could be, on the other hand they always say ME3 is a great time to join Mass Effect. An esatblished relationship, with Liara as a new player could be confusing.

@Lizardviking-I forced myself to do the Ash/Kaidan romances. I have six different Shepards from ME1. Three of them are with Liara, one with Ash, one with Kaidan, one single that romanced Tali in ME2.

I cheated on Ashley and Kaidan. Even though my tool Shepard cheated on Liara, they did get back together at the end of the LotSB and I finally figured out how to break it off with Garrus. Tool Shep had to play with Thane's heart to get the break up with Garrus, but as Tali would say, "It was totally worth it." That Shep is a complete tool.

So Shep can romance Liara in ME3 without romancing her in ME1, I see myself having those other Shepards being with Liara.

True enough. Worse case scenario they make LOTSB reduntant and simply reduce its impact on the romance somehow.

When I play Femshep I have no trouble staying away from Liara. But that is because I also really like Kaidan's romance and because the Femshep I play most of the time is renegade. It is only when I play Maleshep that I need to force myself not to talk to Liara. Because It is most likely my canon Shepard that I am re-playing and because non of the Maleshep exclusive romances hold any appeal to me.

I'm a big fan of FemShepxLiara, and even when I made my single maleShep... O.o still romanced Liara in the end, and then in ME2 I ended up romancing Miranda with MaleShep... and after LotSB.. crawled back to Liara

liara is my no1 favorite afther shepherd herself, never romanced enyone else. exept fooling around with kelly in me2 but that didt come back to bite me XD
