Grace Nakamura from the Gabriel Knight series.

At the start of the trilogy, she has taken a hiatus from her Ivy-league doctorate ambitions and moved to New Orleans and took a job at St. George's Rare Books on a whim; partly to seek adventure, and partly to escape the oppressive tradition her Japanese parents try to push on her.

Okay Benezia didn't push Liara into tradition, but other than that, it's Grace. She even becomes more important then the main protagonist in the third game in my opinion.

In other news: Finished the romance with light sided Ashara in TOR recently. It was so incredibly sweet I hope the ME3 team takes a few pointers from the TOR writing staff as well.

Looks like a female to me at least. Never even thought it could be a male I mean, long hair, thin arms... the person is pretty much the same size as Liara, so I totally hope that it is a female Shepard who's in that pic.

Not sure how you can see the face  being possibly male. Shepard's face seems very feminine as stated.

If default Shep is considered ugly, it would explain why all the women in a room get a look of disgust and shock on their face when I show up.
