I like the LotSB outfit, I don't know about the facial changes though. Kinda looks like a cross between ME1 and ME2 Liara.

I come home from work and my game magazin is full with ME3. Awesome.
Apperantly they played the beginning of ME3, until they meet Liara. There is a picture of her on the Normandy. What a lovely way to start my weekend. :>

I wish my morning newspaper would've been full of ME3 too, instead of all this economic and Euro crisis stuff. Couple Liara pics with two cups of coffee would boost up your morning pretty well Maybe I should start reading German game magazines instead

I have finally written the first (second actually, but whatever) chapter in my new fanfic. I know I have pestered and ranted about it for months without actually ever making any real progress. So I apologize for any annoyances that I may have caused.

For those that want to know more. The fanfic is Maleshep/Liara and will be about the Illium cameo, or rather my version of it. I know that Maleshep/Liara is not everyone's cup of tea in here, but I will still hope that anyone that might feel so will give it a chance.

Teaser:

Liara turned off the small television in her office, letting out a
small sigh. She had been following the news rather intensely as of late,
mostly because of the increased abduction of colonist. Despite what the
Council and the Alliance claimed she had known that there was more to
it than simple slavers. She had suspicions that it was the Collectors,
given that some of her contacts knew they had started to grow an
interest for humans after Sovereign’s defeat. A fact that bothered her,
the idea of the Collectors being mere puppets of the Reapers was
frightening to say the least. But Liara would be dishonest to herself if
the abductions were the only reason she paid more attention than usual
to what was going on, why she spent more resources than necessary on
something that was not related to her mission to find the Shadow Broker.


It was because of Shepard.

She could still hardly
believe that he had returned, but should she not of all people expect
his return the most? No, what should she have expected? Lawson had told
her that Shepard’s body was in poor condition, that the project might
not even succeed. The words had
devastated her. First she had
sacrificed Feron for a corpse, when she did not even know of the Lazarus
project. Her quest to seek closure had resulted in the loss of even
more life. When she had returned, Miranda had confronted her with a
proposal. Give Cerberus the body and Shepard would be given a second
chance. She accepted the offer; despite all what she told herself, she
had done it out of
her own desire to see Shepard live again, not
because it was what was best for him. So when she heard of the body’s
bad condition her heart sank. If Shepard did come back, would he even be
the same man she loved? Or just a Cerberus puppet, a mere shell of what
he used to be. The fears of what extreme measures Cerberus might have
done to bring Shepard back plagued her. It had weighted on her for two
years, she had hoped to escape these feelings, but now. With Shepard
alive again, they had come back to haunt her in full force. She had seen
the security recordings of Omega’s slums, how Shepard had cleared
street after street on his way to his objective, how he had with cold
efficiency and precision killed all the blue suns and Vorcha that
opposed him. No one spared, no one wounded, just casualties. She had
seen the scars her lover’s face now bore, the faint red glow his eyes
gave. An eerie similarity to the Illusive Man, or Saren…

I have a question; After you have invited Liara up to your room in ME2, will you be able to talk more to her? Except the "Shepard, Im glad you came".
And the videos in the Shadow Broker - will there be more of them? Kinda funny seeing what people are up to..hehe

No yo can't . After you invite her, you can always go talk to her at Hagalaz, but you'll always find the same answer: "Shepard, I'm glad you came"

Edit: about the videos I think there are only the videos that you have seen. In my first game I just beat LOTSB after finished both her quest in Illium (before SM) and I saw all the videos in the SB base and all, but every main mission I finished I went there to talk to her (that's why I can say you that she didn't talk anything more that the quote you said) but if I remember well there aren't any more videos.

You never know considering *spoiler*,spoiler, and spoiler. She might end up taking a similar role, especially if she has Shepard's daughters. Which conidering*spoiler* it's possible, but without context hard to say.

do you think that will happen in ME3? I mean that she's now the SB, do you think she will be able to become more badass (in the world of the information brokers) by controlling Cerberus too?
