Also had a renegade with Jack and a paragon with Miranda just to see the scene.

I have 2 faithful romances to Liara. A 3rd which is on a break with her.

And 2 Shepards that romanced Tali, and then went back to Liara.

The rest were deleted, or didn't have a Liara romance.

Yeah I also had a few deleted playthroughs, ones that didn't romance Liara. those were before I got genisis and M.E 1.

I also did 2 playthroughs were shep cheated (One with thane,One with garus) then went back to Liara. By break, do you mean selecting the 'lets just be friends' dialouge.

No, I had my Renegon Shepard tell Liara she didn't see a point to it all. Which resulted with Liara walking out on her.

So they're on a break, it'll ME3. Or not. Who knows. Depends on where the characters are going.

All that really matters is that my canon Robert Shepard romanced Liara and stayed faithful to her. I have done many playthrough with her as my romance option although I have "sampled" all the other female romance options in individual playthroughs. I've never cheated on any of them though lol.

I feel the same, i've played through ME1 10-15 or so times and still love it but replaying ME2 for ME3 stuff is quite tedious

My total completed-playthrough count: 10
In 8 of those, Liara was romanced,
Only two were completly faithful >> What can I say I love drama ( Nor am I entirely convinced that Liara, didn't do pysical favors; in return for information.)

Completed playthrough I have only 4:innocent: (3 in ME and the other in ME2). they were 2 adepts at level 50 (which one of them I replayed to get Lv60, becoming my 3rd completed playtrhough) in ME and the other is an adept again at Lv30 in ME2 (not imported, created by Genesis). All of them romanced Liara, of course and all of them were faithfull to her.

I lost one of my adepts Lv50 savegame because I'm PC user and when I finished ME and got ME2 I uninstalled ME and delete all my savegames:unsure:, that's why I have 2 adepts Lv50, this one I lost and the new I created again to import to ME2 when he got Lv60 by finishing ME 2 times. Now you know, when you have a  2nd playthroug completed in ME and you want to import, you can do it by the 2 files, the original one (just to LV50) or the replayed (up to Lv60)

Now I just have imported to Me2 my adept at Lv60 and I'm Just Recruiting Mordin. This one will be too faithfull to Liara (No question about that:lol:) and this will be also my first playthrough in ME3, because I won't start it until this adept finish ME2 (with LotSB, Overlord, Arrival.. and all 14 DLC)

All of them are MaleSHep:whistle:

I agree,  I abused the 'b' button  after the third,or fourth playthrough of  ME2. How i got through so many I will never know.

Lol I sampled all options. The female option sampling was done via: save,break-up,hook-up with someone else, re-load, and repeat.

I think its the whole mask thing. (the apeal of not knowing what's under it, making it alluring. IDK)

Genisis is a lifesaver,sometimes.

I prefer to have different name's per shep, i guess it's an orginizational habbit. The highest level i got to in ME was 39 lol.

Mshep is fine (Minus his eng voice, and minus his default look.)  Subtitles are a godsend..

agree with you! genesis is a BIG lifesalver:lol:. well for getting my Lv50 in ME I stayed nearly 50 hours of playgame, doing all sidequest possible, minor quests... so if you have the time try it. Y'know, if you get Lv60 in ME you start ME2 at LV5 and get big bonusses of credits and resources for upgrades, and the most importat bonus: +25% experience:devil:

when I read about Genesis I got it and I felt no necesity of reinstall ME, but this time I said to myself "If I want to enjoy ME3 i have to make MYSELF all the decisions in ME and ME2" that's why I reinstalled and replayed twice ME before entering ME2, to have my Lv60 adept and make all my minor decisions (punching the interviewer, What to do with Conrad, Shiala, The consort...) because with Genesis you can't chose them


For Mshep well... I'm allways played him so his Eng voice is fine for me:devil: but it's true that subtittles are a godsend because you can read the game in your own language while you heard him/her talk

Even if Mass Effect had Finnish subtitles I would never use them, I could manage with them but rather not. Oh god, even thinking about reading Shepard's lines in Finnish makes me facepalm. English subs just help you following the lines, when you can hear and read them at the same time. And it also keeps your English sharp when you have to use it

I dislike if the game has Finnish subtitles or voice over in general, it just ruins my whole game experience for some reason. Luckily there aren't too many games with such things.

I don't have the same thing with movies though. Finnish subtitles are nice when watching movies...

I agree with this.

I remember buying Resistance 2 (FPS game to the PS3), only to find out it had Danish voice over. Pretty much turned a crappy FPS into pure torture.

yeah... well that's true, but IDK... i'm used to play with subtitles so it doesn't a problem for me. In fact i'm always trying to heard them talk in english and if there is a word or a quote I don't understand I have the spanish translation under the screen to read it and understand.

even at home we see tv in english mode with spanish subtitles so... I think that depends on everyone, but hey! I'm agree with that you said:P

We know she has an information network at her disposal (though the announcement of her return to the SR-2 casts doubt as to whether it'll stay in play), but I think that, after two years running a vast network of contacts and possibly doing some wetwork of her own, she could also contribute some (albeit limited) tactical expertise in the field.

well I don't know how exactly they 're going to do that.
I'm gessing that she will be a permanent squaddy but at the same time she would be an optional one. Let me try to explain that:

BW announced that she will return as a squaddy, so we can keep her at the battlefield (E3, the demo and other sources had demonstrate that), so that's the part where I say she would be a permanent squaddy, like in ME1.

In the other hand, if you don't want to go with her at the battlefield, BW could make that ingame while you're at the battlefield Liara is assisting us giving us new resources,minor places where we could go to investigate and try to find us something to help kill the reapers... (such TIM did in ME2 while sending us mails to our terminal). Also BW could do that at some points she would be the one who is sending us to places to make some major quests (IDK, finding some new crewmate, or going to save X planet which is being reaperized..)


that's why I think Liara'll do that double role, helping us kicking asses with her badass biotic power and at the same place she'll be using her ressources to give us news about the galaxy status so we can deliver where our help would be necessary.

All of this os a theory I just thought while reading your question, not based in any leak (didn't read it) nor spoilers, so if at the end that just become true, i'll be just by chance. The only think I can assure you is this one:

don't worry because if you like Liara being squaddy, BW announced that she will be with you at the battlefield kicking asses with her singularity, and this is a great new for the Liara community (after her ME2 Illium cameo and LotSB). If she will assist us? Let BW do 'cause I think they have a plan (I hope so);)

And since you are posting in this thread. Just wanted to say that I actually enjoyed reading the Horizon chapter in your fanfic and actually drew some inspiration from it.
