I take that as a compliment, since I kinda tried to make my Shepard look like me, although I think know that the virtual one looks more handsome than the original Part of the credit for that goes to ME's crappy character creator which didn't provide enough different tools to perfectly recreate my manly and handsome face

I wouldn't mind you "eating" my Shepard but I doubt Liara would approve that I don't want you to turn into a coffee cupful of dust you know.

Yep, this emptiness is nothing near the one we had when people left the forum in fear of spoilers, and when we ran out of real Liara topics. It used to be like 5 new pages while you were sleeping, but when we had that "desertion" we were lucky if we had like 2 new posts when you woke up in the morning.

The Paragon option is clearly better and it echoed my sentiments exactly. Especially since the first time I did it I did so after Arrival. So at the end of his line I wanted to add:
"... and I destroyed an entire solar system to stop my enemies without a single blink. You think you know ruthless? You do NOT know who you are f*cking with!"

Why oh why did you not let me execute Vasir myself Bioware? No slumping death is good enough. Just a facefull of mass-accelerated lead.

If someone had a question concerning them and Liara, we just said "there is a thread somewere with spoilers, so if you wanna know, you can go there and maybe you'll have your answer because here almost everybody doesn't have any interest of them, so sorry for not being any help with exact data."

I avoid spoilers quite thoroughly yet I haven't encountered any on here. Granted I'm not on the Liara thread as much. There were some Liara- related spoiler threads popping up in General but they were unconfirmed and quickly locked. It's a risk for sure, all I can say is I've been fine so far.

I was hoping that it had settled down by now ... I want to experience ME3 as I did the two previous games - going in blindly. That's part of the fun to me. Now once I have played the game a couple times and killed off crew members like ME2 (no, I did not have a perfect playthrough my first few times ) I will come back and find out what the bywho I am doing wrong.

I know that there are some gamers that can have perfect games out of the gate but I am definitely not one of them. Because of that I have one Shepard that I use to play at the start so that he suffers all my dumb choices.

I'll play my "John Shepard", or what I like to call Stupid Shepard, and he'll make alot of wrong choices and Shepard and his crew will pay for it. I just hope that Liara won't be one of them but it may just happen. Poor Tali died on him and the bulk of the ME2 crew that first playthrough. Thank Bacchus that I am not Shepard in real life ... The reapers would win for sure.

Aahaha, I could never do that for some reason. But then again I can usually do the paragon/renegade options

I understand you very well. thanks to a friend I discovered ME series and I played all going blind. I cracked when I had to chose a squad to kill him in ME, also with the council decision, in ME2 with the Horizon apparition of my VS, the many possible deaths at the SM (nobody died for me in my 2nd game) and I cracked TOO when discovering the origin of collectors at the IFF quest if I remember it well. THOSE things made me love ME series, and I would be frustrated if anyone comes and says, for example "liara will be the SB (before releasing LotSB DLC)" so man, I trully understand you.

going on topic, in my first playthrougs I did everithing without thinking about it, killing the rachni, killing Shiala but saving the colonists.. and when I arrived at SM, like your "John Shepard" all my crew DIED so it was an EPIC FAIL! but it was funny because I made it by myself, without anybody telling me "if you do squaddies LM they don't die" or stuffs like that. In my 2nd game, AFTER COMPLETING MY DISASTER, I searched how to get the perfect game, but that's other history.

What I want for ME3? that even with my "self-proclamed perfect game" I have done any decision in ME1 or ME2 that makes me have more difficult to save the galaxy. For example, one decision that I thougt "this will help me sure in ME3 war" becomes against my interests

I still don't trust anyone going into ME3. The reapers and their indoctrination makes me question everyone and now that they have TIM going after Shepard according to the official Bioware information it really makes me go "WTF?" If I spent uber monies to bring somene back then I sure as rain would not try and kill them.

That tells me that all bets are off in ME3. And if Liara can die then I would rather Stupid Shepard (who is non-romanced but did have the casual sex with Jack on accident - that's another story) be responsible for that event and not EW Shepard.

wanna know my first experience with Liara?? with my Friend on Xbox heplayed (I'm better player on PC nor Xbox) and I made all decisions, he justs asked me what to do.

well we stayed there doing stupid things with Mako, and we discovered Tali's shields ("WTF!!! Shep has only 2 bars of shield and Tali's got 5 bars?? she's the best":wub:) then I said "why you try playing with the asari??" (we recruited her AFTER doing ALL MAIN PLANETS so you know (her believeing you're an hallucination and that hilarious stuff) and we tried. we made her dominate singularity (what a great decision) and when we're killing minions, we saw lots of them flying in the scren (again my friend and I: "WTF was thaaaaaat??:blink:") we thougt "that must be the asari biotics". so He said, "In our next fight i'll open the abilities console and I'll order her doing singularity" we did and again "WTF WE'RE IN LOVE WITH THAT ASARI!!!!!<3<3<3<3<3<3 SINGULARITY IS THE BEEEEST"

so yes, you can imaginate than in our newest playgames (him on Xbox and I on pc) we agreed having Liara and Tali for squadmate, and without knowing why, but everytime we became specter and opened the galaxy map, Joker ALWAYS put the normandy on the way of Therum without saying Shep a word...:innocent::innocent:

EDIT: he played ME1 and 2 before I, but he never played with Liara and Tali, he always used Wrex and Garrus, so this was our first experience with them.

@hollow22_ ... I learned about her funny response if you waited to get her on the old ME2 Liara thread. When I did a run where I got her last it really cracked me up. As far as main missions go, I prefer to complete Feros first and then go to Therum. It just seems to flow better for me ... I also do Virmire before Noveria.

On Noveria in my canon run, Shepard takes Liara and Wrex because they both are personally impacted by what lays ahead over every other character. When Shepard stands before the rachni trying to determine what to do ... Wrex has a moment there that makes me really weigh that decision.
