@PMC65: I never did the Rachni with wrex so maybe sometimes I'll try it with him. I'm always doing Therum, Feros, Noveria, Virmire. I like having her by my side because Singularity is Singularity, and also It feeds with me having her while Shiala melds Shep (In my last game, I have semiromanced Liara at that moment, because I did lot of sidequest before going to Feros, so I talked with her and I advanced until when She ask Shep if he's in love with her) so when Shiala melds Shep I found that hilarious, even if they didn't menction anything (like with the consort). Going to Noveria with Liara has no questions about it, with all the involvment of Benezia being there...

I agree ... not taking Liara on this mission removes the heart of it. Not taking Wrex for me removes the history of it and what you are risking if you free the queen. Wrex knows the history and what his kind lost in that war. What your kind may lose if you are wrong and let her live.

I always thought that Liara siding with the rachni in that moment is based off her emotional state of the moment. She had just lost her mother and now she has the chance to help another "mother" live. Wrex is coming from a place of the mind instead, remembering the past, the history of what the galaxy suffered because of the rachni.

Were the rachni indoctrinated? Is the queen being truthful? What are the risks? I've never begrudged anyone for freeing or killing the queen. It's a hard choice and having Liara and Wrex there really makes that choice harder for me. I've done both and it will be interesting to see how both choices play out.

instead of that, if you remember my post when I told you about my "self-proclamated perfect game" and what I deserve for ME3, the rachni is the thing I was thinking and I want to become against my interests. As you said, they're indoctrinated? will they "sing" for us at the war? Now I saved her (Liara asked me to do, and being her emotional state I agreed) so if Rachni become against me again... I'll enjoy that with all the consecuences of my decision to save them.

I want some of my choices to bite poor Shepard in the butt to be honest ... and poor Liara wishes that EW Shepard didn't go against her wishes as much as the Commander does. They have a very tug-o-war relationship that you see if you choose the more renegade options. I see EW and Liara as very headstrong and independent females so their relationship reflects that to some degree in my headcanon.

But how I see the two will start to be revealed in my latest fanfic of EW Shepard, following A Thessian's Whisper ...  The Shepherdess and the Questing Beast. (shameless plug, I know)

I'm gonna have hard time not playing ME3 and staying out of the internetz when ME3 comes out, since guess what, my god damn matriculation examinations, the last and most important exams happen to be exactly when ME3 comes out. I'm gonna have to wait 2 weeks after ME3 comes out before my exams are over. Can you imagine, two long weeks with my lovely CE, and I'm afraid to even install it so that I won't start gaming while I should be studying. I can't even take all those goodies out of the box. oh geez, maybe I'll just wait till I got home from the final exam (March 23th), then I'll make 10 litres of strong black coffee, turn off my cell phone, disconnect from MSN and Facebook, take the batteries off of the door bell, so that no one can disturb me, and then I start to play ME3 24/7.

But yes, I agree that the activity of this thread will jump up like 50000 percents when ME3 is released.

Just read the Game Informer article and while it is not Liara specific it does give some insight into the game.

The quote by Casey where he says "but what’s really cool is when you see that a character remembers something that you did, and their feelings are hurt."  

That may not bode well for some of my Shepards.

There is also mentions of future ME3 DLC's ... its an interesting read.

Yeah, well our two weeks (luckily I have more time to study for those exams than those two weeks...) might be quite similar actually, for different reasons though. Struggling with physics, Finnish, English (Finnish and English are easy though) and advanced math will definitely make me yell, shout, scream, throwing books, calculators and other stuff around, a beer every now and then could ease the tension (or at least having some reserves for bad moments won't hurt), but I have to say that if I start to cry then things are going real bad, hopefully that's not going to happen, I'm not that bad in physics or math

I'm just thinking about the feeling when I finally got home from that math exam, I've dealt with all the exams and there's absolutely nothing I need to do, no more school, nothing, so I'm kinda on a holiday till 9th of July. There'll be just me and ME3, I'm gonna have absolutely no life for the next couple weeks after that, well have to leave to the local gym once in a while, but I can imagine that every time I work out I've killed a reaper lol

Not to be captain Obvious but back when ME2 was released, there was alot of spammers who trolled everyone by pretty much spoiling the game in every thread on the forum. So I really do not think BSN will be safe at all when there is one week left for US release.
