ah ok thanks! I didn't pay much attention at the chase banters because I was focused on chasing Vasir, so I listened few ones, like the taxi and the fare meter or the one epic with "truck. I know. TRUCK! I KNOW".

If how it differs is in the leak i'll wait till the game is released to view it by myself.

hey guys! y'know, Liara is watching us carefully to see if we'll arrive to 500 pages of thread...

(only 14 left I think we need to make something special there when we arrived)

Hmnn, yeah I forgot about that part of his character.(Finds kaiden meh..) You know with the new Game-informer out, I Can tell you where you meet Liara, Mars.. Why/how she got there differs on playthroughs.(Like whether you did lotsb ect)

Mars? Wait a second... since Mars is really close to Earth (In ME terms ofc) that means: Start on Earth -> Mars (Pick up Liara) -> Rest of the game? 

I like this setup very much:D

Robhuzz I don't know how it will go, but I think there are lot of possibilities that it will work as you said so... NICE SETUP!!

If not possible, I hope that would be Like ME1 after becoming spectre, wich BW give us 3 possibilities (I hope one of them was Mars...)

but this is a nice form to start the rush against those ****ing machines:wizard: (and also I hope we could say few words to TIM:devil:)

EDIT: why the Blue alien is in the Red planet??? Devs were thinking about F.C. Barcelona??:D

Yup, the people at GameInformer spent  6 hours playing it.  You get Vega,V.S first (Obviously)and then Liara. I have no Idea about Garus or Tali.

Liara is investigating those Prothean ruins on Mars, when she sees the reapers. Her eyes shoot beams of pure awesomeness destroying all the reapers invading Earth. After that she teams up with us and then we go save other planets from the reaper invasion. And this is a solid fact, because I say so. Didn't even have to read GameInformer to figure that out.

Those who read the article might know more of the details but I'd rather not know about that and just speculate but I wonder what Liara is actually doing on Mars. Last I checked she was the Shadow Broker, and she said even though she didn't really like the location of the base, she thought it was a dream job. I'm having a hard time conceiving a theory about why Liara would leave the base to go to Mars, even if it had prothean ruins she felt needed exploring.

If the worst (or best, depending on your point of view) has happened and the base is gone, why would Liara go to Mars instead of heading straight for Shepard on Earth? Most likely she did leave willingly.

Any theories on this people?

The leak contained very old initial data, if there's one thing I know about video game prodocution it's that there's a huge difference between the first and final version of the game. I wouldn't worry about it being even remotely similar. Of course I have not read any of the spoilers of that leak and I'd prefer it to remain that way:pinched:

EDIT: @Robhuzz--> maybe she felt lonely there and she wanted to remind her young times, IDKB) Just kidding, maybe you're right and something happened at the base and she was forced to leave. We'll se it at the demo or in March so I'm not worried.

I think also it is official how Shep escapes from Earth with the aid of Anderson (see ingame trailers), so maybe Liara as SB conceived the plan and told Anderson "you are going to help Shep escape alive from Earh and where you're done there, we'll meet everybody at Mars", where she could easily explain Shep how is doing the galaxy while he was judged about the events of Arrival DLC.

I can't speculate about Liara on Mars, I read it in my game magazin. ^^
But I have to say, if you pay close attention to the Prothean storyline, there are hints in ME1 and LotSB.

****! now you're playing in other league far away beyond our limits:D:D. I'm speculating that it must be about the beginning of everything! I mean, at the opening of ME1 (at the text before the scene with Shep looking at the planet in his/her spaceship) it is said that humans discovered something about the relays or the mass fields (don't remember it well what was exactly) and with this human beings could open themselves to rhe rest of the galaxy, so I supose sweet Liara is in Mars because there must be Something in Mars compelling all that, something never told to us players, or maybe something devs have told us but we didn't thought it is important:unsure:

please, MP me only to tell me if I have reason or I'm wrong in my speculations. No need to tell me "in mars there are X thing that combined with Y thing..." you understand what I mean. I don't want to be spoilered and also because of your answer could spoiler someone like me who didn't read the game magazin and didn't want to know untill game is released. Thank you

All I know, and this is all purely based on ME1 and 2, is that humans found those Prothean ruins on Mars. Just small data caches, but that discovery made it possible for humans to develop FTL travel and to understand this whole mass effect field stuff. Also, there is this one side mission (I'm not sure if it even was a mission at all, or did you just need to randomly go to that planet...) in ME1 where you find a Prothean orb on an uncharted planet, when you examine it, it shows visions (not animated in the game, only written text explaining the vision) to Shepard about Protheans watching and observing humans. This vision took place in stone age or something.

So maybe there is still something on Mars after all. Maybe the Protheans knew that humans would one day be intelligent enough to get to the space, and they left information or anti-reaper technology/other stuff hidden there for us to be found, so that we could break the circle (Just like Vigil was still functional when Shepard got there). So that we wouldn't make the same mistake they did. And Liara is a Prothean expert, so it would be logical that if there's still something related to Protheans on Mars, she'll be there.

And this was all just wild speculation. If someone knows better, no need to tell, I'd rather find out only when I'm playing ME3 myself .

I totaly agree that Korkki. I remembered the prothean ruins being discovered at the beginning of ME1 like I said in my last post. About that side mission I didn't remembered it, but after you tell about the text explaining those visions I just found something in my mind related to that, but I played that sidequest long time ago, and I didn't do it in my recent games.

I'm at your side as you well say there IS still something on Mars, which we'll discover in 2 months, unless if ingame that data or whatevet it could be ends destroyed or lost. that is all true what you say, but I think the original question is why she goes by herself to Mars? I agree with you that being Prothean expert is her duty and one big argument for Lia being there, but IDK, being SB also gives her lot of stuff just to abandon Hagalaz for some ruins.

Even so, she has an entire organization at her hands, she just can call the SB agents (like she did when she answer their call when she took control of SB base in DLC) and ask them to go Mars found *insert here what you think there is in Mars* for the sake of SB. Why she had to abandon Hagalaz? Why don't ask the job to one of her agents?

I don't really know if there's still something Prothean stuff in Mars or not, but that's just something that popped into my mind. Like you said, there has to be a reason why Liara would leave the SB base and go to Mars. Maybe it is that very job as a SB why it is she who'll find out about that assumed remaining Prothean stuff on Mars? So she's the only one who knows what's still buried in there. Maybe that something is so important that she needs to go there by herself and she can't handle that through her agents. Maybe she's the only one with enough knowledge about Protheans or then it (what ever it happens to be) simply can't fall into the wrong hands or something.

well but SB agents don't know who SB is. If they're asked about "going seach some stuff for SB" they go and they give them to SB. If I remember well no one suspects about the organization having one new SB. I think my friend that we can stay here talking about this until March or until someone spoils us because the both of us are believing the same thing but we're ignoring the same question, "why she's there" ...

but you know what? I'm starting to think Mars is a TRAP from Cerberus, like it was in ME2 going to the Collectors Ship. TIM want to check Shep&Liara relationship, so maybe he contacted her telling "there are something in Mars that can help us in our request" and Blam! attack her in Mars...
