no idea where it's from the first time i saw it was when PMC65 posted it on the forum

where is that picture actually from?

If my memory serves me correctly that's a scene from the cameo on Illium, she'll get rather angry if you keep throwing blames at her. Not sure which response causes that reaction though - I'm always friendly to liara myself

Speaking of that, what was everyone's expectations on Liara before meeting her in ME2?

Here's mine. I got past Horizon, and just finished recruiting Tali. After picking her up, I started liking her, but didn't want to do anything till I saw Liara first. I wanted to figure out where she was before doing anything.

So I looked online to figure out where she was, and learned on a message board thread titled "Where's Liara?" that she was on Illium. However, they were talking about "Yeah, but she's gone crazy" in the thread. So I wanted to learn more about it.

I then think I looked on the Wiki, or somewhere, and it said all kinds of crazy stuff. That she's become a crazy assassin, working for the Shadow Broker.

I could'nt be able to do that to her... just seeing those DEM EYES

It's impossible for me to get her angry, even if I want to do it (never wanted to)

My expectations for Liara?

That I will get my happy reunion with her (I knew she was not going to join the squad), although seeing her new behavior was something of a shock to me.

I normally choose the more confrontational dialogue when playing the Shepard that romanced her and the more polite dialogue with the Shepard that is just her friend. I personally like her more when she (Liara) bites back. 

It makes the relationship between the two feel more real and even equal. Liara will push back on Shepard if necessary. I like that!

So after learning that, I expect to find her doing some dark side stuff like Bastila as an assassin, only to find her doing office work, where she barely talked to you.

I don't know what's worse. One sounds a bit cool though.

Indeed, it also makes LOTSB and the picture more powerful if both parties have at that point hurt each other.

I actually get this a few times. Because I play mostly renegade, and  I think what she says differs slightly if in romance. Is it just me or does her crest remind anyone else of super-saiyan hair? Or am Ijust crazy?

Considering who her father probably is, her  reaction is not at all surprising.

Didn't like it at all, since my Shepard was a Pure Paragon. I wouldn't like her being an assassin either, but that sounds cooler then ordering people dead from her desk. I'm a Mystique fan.

Personally didn't like it.

Renegon Femshep didn't care, and was more disappointed with just hacking terminals.

When I first heard she was involved w/ the Shadow Broker I thought Shep might have to rescue her from the SB (to mimic first meeting in ME1) or help her out in some way and then there would be a nice little reunion. After playing her part in the core game my first thoughts were that she would eventually become the new Shasow Broker and that BW was setting the seeds for some "Airibastila" style plot line.  Fortunately, Liaribastila never appeared. 

I typically take the more renegade lines w/ Liara for my romanced femshep even though she is mostly paragon.  Just brings some sorely lacking emotion to the scene and fits well w/ the "need me to hack more terminals" comment later in LotSB.
