I was afraid of this. Well with BF3 it took a little while but eventually Razor developed a crack that would allow those who legally bought the game to install and play it without Origin. By the Goddess I hope they can do the same for ME3.

Yeah, I startet following them at Facebook (yes even Razor group have an account) hopping they provide us news about that subjet. I also hope them to develop that crack like they did in BF3 and lots of games before.

Better be careful about it. Even though the crack they developed only works with legitimate copies of BF3 (and as such I see no harm in using it), EA and BioWare still consider cracks illegal software and so this subject should not be talked about in the official BioWare forms. I just quickly mentioned it so people who really do not want to install a download manager and validation software for every seperate game, know there's a way out.

There is still the possibility of sandbowing the application on your hard drive, so that EA can't go snooping around.

Fair warning: A LOT of threads have been locked because people were discussing ways to circumvent Origin, even though it's not illegal to do so, discussing such subjects on these forums is not allowed. Please don't get this thread locked, especially since we're so close to page 500.

Somewhat off topic, but really? Their very own website says

It should be noted, however, that Sandboxie does not typically stop sandboxed programs from reading your sensitive data

Basically, what they are doing amounts to Windows equivalent of UnionFS. Arguably, a simpler solution would be using mandatory access control from the start - both to prevent Origin from reading data and - Sandboxies real purpose - preventing rogue software from damaging files.

However, that doesn't address the real problem - that origin will, most likely, require full access to the computer to run*, making this argument academic.

* After all, EA doesn't scan the files on your computer for the EVULS but because they want to make sure that the software is not modified in any way (e.g. to circumvent copy protection), that you are not using cheats (aimbots et al) or generally evil software (debuggers!). It would be kinda dumb if Origin could be fooled by a simple "Those are not the files you're looking for".

Okay I'm on my first playthrough with romanced Liara,just finished LotSB and I love it. I liked her even when she wasn't romanced,but now I absolutely love her. Probably the best romance option.

there is one pic of her in ME1 with an sniper? do you have it? because in that gif she's having her shotgun (you know, assault riffle in her left shoulder, sniper rifle in her right shoulder, pistol in her left hip and shotgun in her back, just before her.. her... well y'know:devil:)
