Liara was a bit intimidated by Ashley at first, especially from her distrust of aliens and how open she was about it. She had over heard Ashley and Shepard talking once, and when Ashley had mention her distrust of Liara, because she was the daughter of an enemy, Katelyn defended Liara and scolded Ashley for not trusting in her judgment. After that they had began to warm up to each other.

When Liara gave the body to Cerberus, Jacob said that Shepard was nothing but meat and tubes. I'm not sure if Liara actually saw the body, I thought it was in a body bag or something like that.Rolling Flame wrote...

Agreed, it's pretty intense. I've always wondered what Shepard looked like when Liara found the body. After that, I'm not sure I want to know anymore.
Ah yes.. The day Commander Shepard supposedly suffered mutliple explosions aboard the crumbling normandy, only to suffocate to death and fall on a planet thus permanently dying.. we have dismissed these claims.Rolling Flame wrote...

You know, Liara is pretty open about how she felt about humans before she really got to know them on the Normandy. How long did she keep that opinion before she started to change? Do you think that given Ash's "bluntness" and Liara's "honesty" that there may have been some tense moments between the two at the beginning?
I love both characters and I just think that poor Shepard, Dr. Chakwas and even Joker might have had to diffuse some moments between the two.

How did others see Liara's relationships on the Normandy?

I think you got something mixed up, and it would be my bad for not specifying..
Liara was intimidated by Ashley because Ashley was openly distrustful of aliens.

I think Ash's attitude is mostly due to lack of exposure, and would be heavily influenced by the camraderie that is formed after several weeks of working together. That and I imagine Shepard's attitude towards aliens would soften her stance. I can see a few sparks flying early on, but nothing that would be unprofessional.

I have not read the comic. Seen bits of it here and there. I did order it over the weekend as a TPB, so I am hoping to get it back the end of the week or early next week. I was sure Liara didn't actually see Shepard's body.ZeroCrewX wrote...

I have the comics, Shepard's body is in a coffin similar to the one on the Normandy if someone dies during suicide mission.
Or as the anti-Liara crowd would just call her a stalker.Lezlie.Shep wrote...

My femShep forgave Liara as soon as she told Shepard how she ended up with Cerberus. I should write a fanfic about their talk in more detail. Maybe I will do that after reading the comic once I get it.
The only thing about this piece of art, which is grand by the way, is Liara having that fugly Cerberus logo on her outfit. URGH to Cerberus.

I have one renegade Shep that told her off at that point. She said she was sorry more than one, but he didn't care. But all the others forgave her, espeically the ones that romanced her.TMA LIVE wrote...
