Well, if she did, people like the Alliance would find out about it, and might try to stop it.
I as a player know that. But the characters in the game should still ask the question, especially a romanced VS who I feel might be slightly emotionally betrayed by Liara not telling anything to them.
I imagine that question will eventually be asked. I also imagine Liara's answer will look something like: "What was I supposed to tell you? By the way I found Shepard's body after a fight with the Shadow Broker then gave it to Cerberus because they could bring him back to life?"
Even after all this time it would be a hard subject to talk about for Liara since she genuinly cares for Shepard, even when not romanced, and would likely not want to be reminded of that time. I also feel both Ashley and Kaidan (who are supposedly now Spectres) should be professional enough to not push this subject. All turned out well and that's what matters first and foremost.
As Specters I assume neither Kaidan nor Ashley will be strangers to the 'Anything goes, as long as the mission is completed' motto either. Whether Liara's initial motivation for collecting Shepard was the right or wrong one... They'll simply have to live with it since it can not be undone.

This actually makes me think. How would glasses actually work on asari? With no ears, I guess the only solution would be a strap-on. Or tentacle support.

"Look, Ash, Liara, can we at least agree that this Assault Rifle damage mod is pretty sweet? We can agree on that, right?"
Didn't we discuss if they could become friends a little while ago? It seems that they still don't get along very well
Most likely the Virmire Survivor and Liara don't like each other because of the happenings of Redemption. Y'know; with Liara giving Shepard to Cerberus and all that. Ash probably doesn't trust her any more.
Ashley was hostile to Liara from the moment she stepped aboard the Normandy in ME1. Of course going into ME3 it may be that Ashley also has 'issues' with what went on in Redemption, but otherwise Ashley is confrontational with Liara for no other reason than she views her as a romantic rival. At least with MaleShep it is obvious that Ashley is digging him from the get go, and once Liara is aboard the Normandy it is also obvious that Ashley's hostility towards Liara is mostly (or entirely) motivated by jealousy.

I have a slightly off-topic question so feel free to answer me in a pm as its about Origin but I'm too scared of the other threads to go and ask it there.
I'm rather new to the gaming community and especially PC gaming so I'm a little lost. What exactly IS Origin, what does it do, why do we need it for ME3, and why do some people seem to hate it with a very scary passion?
Am I supposed to hate it too?
Thanks!!!

The reason why a lot of people (including me) are opposed to Origin is because of the EULA, which states very vaguely that EA has the right to sift through your computer's files and can send them to their partners and because of the incredible fail that was the BF3 launch were many people couldn't play their newly purchased game because Origin wasn't working properly.
Finally there's the argument why the heck do those who purchase physical copies (like me) need to use a digital distribution service that simply sits on the HDD never to be used anyway.
So there you have it, I've tried to explain it as unbiased as I could being firmly anti- Origin myself.
One final point: Another source of hate is because it's a classic EA thing. Valve recently changed their terms of service, now I don't know exactly what changed but it had to do with DLC. For any game that Valve offers on Steam, they also want to offer all that game's DLC (sounds fair doesn't it) only EA doesn't want Valve to sell their DLC because that would mean EA has to share profits with Valve. EA, of course, will do anything to prevent profit loss so it caused a riot where a few EA games didn't appear on Steam. Then EA came up with Origin to get their own digital distribution service up and running and it earned them the wrath of the loyal steam fans who now have to have 2 seperate programs on their systems in order to not miss out on any game.

Though Origin is like a plain version of Steam, with fewer thing to do. Basicly it only has a store for buying digital games, your own game library, ability to view other users' profiles and chat.
But ofc there is also the down side (EULA etc.), Robhuzz mentioned.
I have both Steam and Origin installed on my computer atm, and they haven't given me any trouble yet. (I've been using Origin for about year and a half and Steam something like 6+ years...)

I guess Ashley will be much more spiteful. Kaiden was never once rude toward Liara in ME1, not even during the romance confrontation scene.

Origin is EA's counterpart to Valve's Steam client. If you've never heard of Steam: It's a digital distribution service that lets you purchase and download digital editions of games. It also patches your game automatically whenever a new patch is available. It has a lot of other functions but those are irrelevant to your question.

My mother recently got new glasses. I can't express this perfectly in English, but basically, there are no bars that go beyond the ears on hers. Instead there are small pads which push toward her skull a few inches in front of her ears instead. The springs that keep the glasses in place are quite strong, which kinda deforms the glasses quite a bit when they're not worn.Gabriel Stelinski wrote...

Ashley admits to it if you pick her over Liara ... That she was really mad at Shepard and not Liara.
Once Ashley sees Liara, an asari, she is put on edge. But I could see where it would be a little intimidating to have a species known for being physically open and seductive suddenly on-board. The reputation of this species is not exaclty that of modesty & restraint ... so if they had made Ashley greet her with open arms that would have seemed really out of character.
If you liked someone and suddenly there appeared what is potentially a rival for the affection of someone you really liked how would you react? I would like to think that it wouldn't bother me and that I'd be polite ... but who knows. Ashley acts like some women & men would in that situation ... why do I hear Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats".
Even if Shepard tells Liara that Ashley is special that doesn't stop her from asking how he feels about her as well. So Ash is a little justified in her concerns about Liara. Ashley, in my opinion, understands Liara before anyone else does. Female to female the match starts from the moment that they meet. It made me love both characters that much more!
Emotions aren't always pretty or nice, unfortunately.

This is a great post, good summary of the situation.
What also plays into that rivalry with Ashley in the beginning, is that Liara is a scientist, a succesful expert in her field.
Ashley is a woman with ambitions, held back by the unfair treatment of her family, who works hard, but gets only little validation in return. Her reaction to Liara is probably also caused by her insecurities and questions of self-worth in regard to professional success.
