I wanted to point out something about Liara, VS, and Cerberus. I do hope that they do bring up what happened and I hope Liara explains it to the VS the same way she explained it to Shepard. That way they can see her emotion. One thing that dawned on me though was TIM took advantage of Liara at her most vunerable moment. Cerberus contacted Liara a MONTH after Shepard was declared dead. A month is nothing and you haven't even worked through the pain. TIM maybe thought for a few secs about the VS but then said hell no keep The Allience away. TIM knew Liara would be perfect cause I'm pretty sure he knew Liara loved Shepard. So he used her because she was vunerable. So I do see Liara as a victim as far as Cerberus goes. I do hope though that they bring up what happened between Cerberus and Liara to the VS even more so if you romanced them. I don't want some huge fight though. Maybe just talk about it and come to an understanding of ty Liara for giving me the chance to see Shep again. I just wish you would of told me sooner. Anyhoo....that is my thoughts on that.

Hmmn, the fact Kaiden is so calm makes him even more intimidating. I think maybe the fact Liara hasn't had that much experience outside her own species,Ash seems more of a threat because Ash knows more about males, then Liara does *At that time*.

If I recall correctly.

Liara was contacted to meet up with Feron on Omega, so I do not think she was actively looking for Shep's body.

Also that "lone sniper" is not Garrus AFAIK, it is just another Cerberus soldier.

No, Liara was looking for Shepard, which was why Feron was sent to distract her for the Shadow Broker.

Your correct I just read it. She was looking for leads and of course Cerberus had to get their first. Feron was a dbl agent for Shadow Broker/ Cerberus. I think Cerberus offered him more money plus he didn't like the Shadow Broker selling Shep to the Collectors. Then Liara gave Shep to Cerberus. I don't think it was long though before she got in contact with Cerberus.

Ashley was hostile to Liara from the moment she stepped aboard the Normandy in ME1. Of course going into ME3 it may be that Ashley also has 'issues' with what went on in Redemption, but otherwise Ashley is confrontational with Liara for no other reason than she views her as a romantic rival.  At least with MaleShep it is obvious that Ashley is digging him from the get go, and once Liara is aboard the Normandy it is also obvious that Ashley's hostility towards Liara is mostly (or entirely) motivated by jealousy.

Ashley admits to it if you pick her over Liara ... That she was really mad at Shepard and not Liara.

Once Ashley sees Liara, an asari, she is put on edge. But I could see where it would be a little intimidating to have a species known for being physically open and seductive suddenly on-board. The reputation of this species is not exaclty that of modesty & restraint ... so if they had made Ashley greet her with open arms that would have seemed really out of character. 

If you liked someone and suddenly there appeared what is potentially a rival for the affection of someone you really liked how would you react? I would like to think that it wouldn't bother me and that I'd be polite ... but who knows. Ashley acts like some women & men would in that situation ... why do I hear Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats". 

Even if Shepard tells Liara that Ashley is special that doesn't stop her from asking how he feels about her as well. So Ash is a little justified in her concerns about Liara. Ashley, in my opinion, understands Liara before anyone else does. Female to female the match starts from the moment that they meet. It made me love both characters that much more!

Emotions aren't always pretty or nice, unfortunately.

I played Mass Effect 1 more than once and chose Liara and Ashley on different playthroughs, but I can't remember Ashley outright acknowledging that she was jealous. I wonder if I picked a wrong dialogue option somewhere.

Or maybe it has just been too long since I've played ME1.

Anyway, I hope the two characters can bury the hatchet at some point in ME3. (and not in the other's back)
I get the sense that the two of them would probably get along quite well if not for Shepard.
