Is it me or does she look like she's wearing heavier makup, mainly around the eyes in those above animated icons? Not that I'm complaining, she still looks beautiful as ever.

He dosn't get away. Regardless of if you do LOTSB, or not; Liara still becomes the new Shadow Broker.

well if that happens my friend, we only have to kick the asses of the former Shadow Broker (as we did in LotSB) and Cerberus (at it seems we'll have to do in ME3) so nothing changes:whistle:

More seriously, i'd like to fight both together as you suggest but IDK, i'm glad we didn't have to (SB was the only boss who made me suffer a bit in both ME and ME2), because the Human-Larva Reaper was killed with 2 shots of my M920 Cain:devil: ( you know the glich in which you can fire 2 consecutive shots if you have more than 200% ammo, and the second one don't need to charge like the first...)

I swear in this new game I'm doing (now just I need to do some LM, LotSB, overlord an minor quest before getting the IFF and the SM) I'll kill the Larva without the Cain

I tried the Cain once and nothing happened. I only use the Geth Particle Beam after that.

I just completed another playthrough and that fight against the Shadow Broker still cracks me up. As my poor Shepard is running around the Shadow Broker, passing a knocked out Zaeed and Liara shaking her head (ok that shaking her head part is just my imagination, I hope ) ... I'm in my livingroom shouting, "Kill it Liara ... don't wait on me!"

Personally I love how badass Liara is during that scene, even her harsh expression. I mean, c'mon people, it's called character development, anyone who goes through all the **** Liara's been through is bound to change. Personally I love that, especially considering last time Liara was in this situation she was trapped in a cage and helpless, now she's kicking ass. Very nice.

And it looks like it was a cerberus trooper she shot.  So it seems cerberus has been chasing her too..

It looks like the ending to the leaked beta. They just replaced Shepard with Liara, and put it into a different area,

It's not just you. She's wearing dark eye shadow now. I'm not sure if I like it or not, gonna have to see her in-game.

It's certainly true that Liara's harsh demeanor is appropriate to what she's been through. I'm kind of hoping that my Shep can help her get past it. (If s/he can help Jack, for cryin' out loud...)

And FTR, ME1 Liara was awesome too. Nice is not wimpy. (Just ask anyone who got in a firefight with Paragon Shepard...oh, wait, you can't.

Hmnn, I will simply say if you did LOTSB then  its a defininte no. I'm pretty sure you wont be able to access it regardless,though.

They're both backstabbers. But Cerberus needs intel, and SB wants protection, and Liara's death. They both work together to benefit the other.

Apart of me wishes the SB plot continued instead of ending all in ME2.

If anything is to change about the spoilers (from what I heard anyways), I hope Vasir is dead in all versions. Mainly because, as much as I like her character, I don't like her being alive just because I didn't do LOTSB. It would mean I'd have to not play a DLC just to see her alive.

Or was that some bull**** misinformation?

I also don't get how she wouldn't be dead. It's not like she wouldn't try to go after Liara. I mean, if Liara was in a position to hire mercs, then a Spectre with the best Information Broker should have been able to track her down. And we know the Shadow Broker would have sent her the second Liara found his location.

The fight was quite close - it's not unreasonable to think that, without Shepard's aid, Liara would have been able to fight off Vasir but not able to prevent her from escaping. Further, not that Vasir's comments are largely directed at Shepard ("This is what a real Spectre can do", etc) - she might have disengaged (and lived to fight another day) if it hadn't been for her rage at Shepard.

Or maybe Vasir wouldn't have found Liara at all - without Shepard's help, it would have taken her much longer to find the hidden recording (which Liara might not have left in the first place if she hadn't been expecting Shepard) about the informant, allowing Liara to get the information from Sekat without a fight. Vasir would still be after Liara, but there wouldn't necessarily be an confrontation, and Vasir might back off if she considered the Shadow Broker's position to be lost (e.g. if Liara's mercs are already on route to the base).

Basically, there are lots and lots of possibilities in which minor changes in events would result in Vasir surviving the fall of the Shadow Broker - if only to deliver her exposition lines on the Shadow Broker and Cerberus for those who didn't play ME2.

That could work. Unfortunatly I also heard a rumor, that Vasir being dead, is a bad thing for whatever reason.

Well... you guys kinda already switched to a new discussion...   But it was a cool question and I don't think anyone answered him!

I always thought in my head that the asari language was like the Elven language that JRR Tolkien created in his Lord of the Rings books and you can hear in the movies.  Its very beautiful, very flowy, languid language and I just thought it kinda fit the asari people what with their long lives and biotics, they're kinda like elves!  Well sorta...

Ok, now off to watch the video you guys are all posting awesome pics from.  We find out why Liara/Sheperd is on Mars?  Yes?

Yay, someone noticed my question.

That was something I started to think here one night and I realized that I have actually no idea what it could sound like. And I don't think that we have discussed that before.

I like your idea of it being like the Elven language in LotR though. Imo there is also something sharp in the words of the Elven language, which isn't something that I could imagine being an attribute of the Asari language. But no matter what it actually sounds like,  I'm sure it's beautiful and mystical even.

The Asari have also this mind meld, like we all very well know, and they can share information through that and all. So what if their way of communication is less verbal than ours and more, well not like telepathy or anything but some mind stuff? Dunno, just an idea...
