It's impossible to tell at this point, but I'm pretty sure that would count as an ending of the relationship..

If the game actually takes into account the way you broke up (Eg 'no hard feelings' or 'just friends for now') then there may be different ways to get back together with Liara in ME3. It's probably still possible to romance her no matter what though I'd prefer it if she wouldn't simply take you back.

Yeah I agree - I was mainly thinking about when if you reject her when she's on the Normandy - she seemed pretty damn annoyed. So yeah, you've got a point - I think it's likely to hinge on how you turned her down, and as you said, I'd be somewhat disappointed if she instantly accepted Shep back - that said, there were indications that she might end up with Feron should you not get together with her again, which I quite liked the idea of.

Oh and on a side note, do you guys think there'll be repurcussions with your LI if you flirted with Kelly? I only did so so she would feed my fish, and I never actually invited her up to my cabin... Yes I feel like a user haha, but I was just wondering about other peoples' thoughts on this. I was thinking that it wouldn't, because I don't believe you can get Liara to comment on a relationship with Kelly during the LoTSB, as she does with other LIs if you complete the game along with a romance prior to doing LoTSB.

Since all I did with Kelly was have a friendly dinner (that's how I saw it at least) and it was during a time when Liara seemed uninterested to even discuss their relationship, I doubt it'll be a big deal. Sure IF we see Kelly again she might inquire after how Shepard is doing and be a little flirty like she was in ME2 and this MIGHT cause Liara to ask if there's something going on between you. Maybe causing a little scene. I do not expect fully blown consequences at all. Not like reaffirming your romance with Liara in Lotsb and then actually romancing someone from the ME2 crew at least. (This should have some pretty far reaching consequences imo since no matter how you put it, you were downright cheating on Liara in that instance)

But like I implied with the amount of maybes it's impossible to know for certain at this point.

I re-affirmed my Romance with Liara prior to flirting with Kelly (or at least, I think I'd flirted with Kelly before I had LoTSB, but carried on after I'd completed it) - but seeing as Kelly cannot contributed to the Romance achievement, I never invited Kelly up to my cabin after saving the crew, and just before going through the relay, my Shep was gazing longingly at Liara's photo, I'm pretty sure that counts as not actually having a romantic involvement with Kelly?

Please Liara baby, I only did it so she would feed my fish!

Ah L'amour, L'amour! I hope that there is a chance to re-unite. I would like to be able to play that Shepard is struggling with being back with Liara after seeing how her death left Liara ... Liara can reach out to Shepard but she only does when Shepard moves away if you notice.

The first time that I decided to just have Shepard leave and Liara stopped her by asking about the kiss ...  I loved that more than Shepard being the one to make the move. Just once though I would love to have Liara grab Shepard and kiss her/him without any prodding.

I also would love it if you can have a Shepard who doesn't romance her in ME1 or ME2 and then realizes that (s)he has loved her along and tells her that in ME3. It's all about different stories, different Shepards and replayability!

Also, I have no idea were that face mask even came from, as the face mask was Not in the Gametrailers.com footage nor was it on Spike TV when i watched it. My initial reaction is that the above version is a fake...but i dont know for sure, oh well.

Oh...well thats a bit odd...

Oh well...Anyways I acctually kinda like her more dark coloring. It seems simliar to LotSB look but a little darker on the lips and around the eyes. And I truthfull like her more cold expression in the one I posted.
Im not trying to argue though, we all have slightly different preferences. Its just that the look on the facemask version seems a bit...detached from the situation, but again that is my opinion.

But I think it could also be the lighting effects or color loss due to being compressed or streamed or something technical like that.

^ By the Goddess, I almost forgot about Hannah Shepard. I think it would be totally awesome if Liara met her future mother in law at some point in ME3. I'm unsure as to what they'd actually say to eachother though, what with pretty much the entire galaxy being destroyed around them.

Interesting question. I'd say no, due to that being overused with Ashley. I mean skipper is a hard pill to swallow for me. I hope they go easy on that in ME3. Although my main is and will always be Liara for life, I have an alt that has an affinity to Ashley, but damn that skipper BS. Why couldn't it be something else... everytime she says skipper I start to think of skipping and fields filled with flowers. Very nasty sight.
