Food.

Liara is from a species that evolved on an eezo-rich world, where the native animals and plant-life have evolved in a way that they are immune to the otherwise harmful effects of eezo in the enviroment. Food and water on the planet has trace elements of eezo in it. Eezo of course, is a carcinogen for humans.

So if Shepard were to live on Thessia with Liara, or any other planet where there was access to Asari food, Shep would have to be very careful with what he or she ate. Asari food in it's natural form, would eventually cause cancer. Though perhaps in the 22nd Century medical advances have made cancer more of a nuisance than something to be truly feared. In either case, I'm sure Shepard would want to avoid it.

And Liara would want Asari food from time to time. People tend to enjoy the food they grew up with. So an all human-diet would not realistically be an option. There are apparently versions of Asari food with the Eezo content removed, but I wonder if the Asari themselves have a biological requirement for Eezo in their diet.

Food would be an issue with Shep and Tali as well. In fact it would be an even bigger issue with those two, since humans can't eat Quarian food at all, and vice versa.

 I the drama, lol I blame DAO/feastday gifts  for that. In LOTSB you can reaffirm your relationship with Liara, but also not break up with ME2 LI.

OMG, your right I didn't even think about food being an issue.Woulden't Asari food be more commen, since they are the older race.?

Yes there is that, but Iwas thinking  of other less disscussed issues. 

I think there might be trust issues that might need to be resolved.

Sorry, but I'm not buying that - we have lactose free milk, gluten free bread, etc but you're asking me to believe that, in a future with magic technology, no one will bother to remove known carcinogenic substances from food, never mind the considerably easier option of growing the ingredients on arable worlds not contaminated with eezo if they plants merely tolerate but don't require eezo contamination.

i guarantee someone ninja'd me on this one but for Han and Leah basically went off on more galaxy saving adventures creating a new galactic govt. helping Luke reestablish the Jedi Order, having kids, and basic galactic hero stuff in the Falcon after Jedi, it's documented in the EU (all the books/movies/games etc... that serve as background and expand on the Star Wars Universe).  also unfortunately they killed off Chewbacca

It isn't quite that simple.

You would have to be careful with cross contamination too. For an Asari, living with a human would be a bit like living with someone with an extreme peanut allergy. Can it be done safely? Yes. Massive hassle? Yes as well.

That could be a potential 'issue' in a relationship.
