If you closely look at the picture, you'll notice that the eyelids are hair but the "eyebrow" is not - e.g. compare to [img]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Eyes_chris.jpg[/url] (Wikipedia), or at least that there is insufficient detail to make out individual hairs.

"Eyebrows" are just facial markings (consistent with canon) we - humans, either meta as the player or less meta through Shepard's eyes - recognise as eyebrows.
Eyelashes - hair inconsistent with canon - on the other hand, are a serious issue.

Exactly. I wanna know why Liara has eyelashes. I wasn't disputing her cute "eyebrows"

Good for the Tali fans then, and so what? I have read some of the dialog for Liara and I like it. And I think this is one of those areas where we should wait until the finale product has been released before making judgement.

From what I've read Liara has one of the better romances in ME3. I won't say the best, but pretty close.
But seriously nothing is as bad as Jacobs romance in ME3, so don't worry.

So her romance is ood then? Actually pretty decent? I'm losing hope in this game.

No her romance is the most intresting, and my favorite. But (I can't belive I'm typing this) Miranda's wins out in ME3. {Except if they use sterotype lines..if she says crikey...<_<)

If this happened to me, some serious alarm bells just went off and i would think she did not like me.

Liara actually goes looking for Shepard's corpse after he dies, and goes to hell and back to prevent said corpse from being obtained by the Shadowbroker (for the Collectors), just out of devotion to Shepard. When she finally obtains his corpse, she turns it over to Ceberus for the Lazarus Project.

If Liara was uninterested or disloyal she wouldn't have been devoting that much energy in her search, and risking her life along the way, just to prevent the Collects from getting their cyborg hands on Shepard's carcass. If she was romanced, it is quite obvious that Liara was in love with Shepard. If she's unromanced, it is quite obvious that she was utterly loyal to her former Commander and fallen comrade-in-arms. All that differs is the motivation for the search. In either case she believes Shepard is the only one that can stop the Reapers, and is the most loyal squadmate in the entire game.

Exactly. I wanna know why Liara has eyelashes.

That is the eye of an Ostrich. So 'eyelashes' aren't just limited to mammalian species. The hairs in this case are actually feathers that look like hairs and perform the same function.

Maybe Liara's eyelashes aren't hairs at all, but something more alien. Or maybe they are hairs. Either way the Asari would need something that performs the same biological function as our eyelashes. (keeping the eyes clear of dust and debris)

Interesting topic. I will chime in about ME3 romances, without any spoilers. I think Liara's romance is pretty good, I'm very eager to see it in action. There are some other good ones too. To me it all boils down to preference on what makes a good romance finale. Of course I am bias, so take what I say with a grain of salt please.

Well, as I said before, the only thing I really want is to feel like Liara and Shepard are clearly in a relationship. No "keep things professional, and save romance for later" bull****. They're in a romance, and they should talk about it. A lot. About the future, past, and present. That's all I want. Just don't give me more bull**** about "needing more time". Because it's been what, 3 years? And at least a year knowing Shepard wants to be with you if you played LOTSB.

How was the convention PMC?  I'm jealous, I've never been but I totally grew up on Xena!  Is that aging me?

I keep going back and forth about knowing spoilers.  I know a little, but I kinda forgot what they were.

But I have all the questions you brought up TMA and I wanna know!!!  Do I ask someone to message me?  Do I wait and be surprised?  But what if I'm ultimately disappointed because it doesn't turn out like I thought?  Isn't it better to be disappointed now so I can get used to it?

I DON'T KNOW!!!!! 





P.S.... the giant ostrich eye totally freaked me out...

Day one there were three of us wearing N7 hoodies, two guys and me ...total Mass Effect fans that I talked to at the CON were three guys and four gals! We all exchanged info so that we could play Co-Op. Yep, 2 Americans, 3 Canadians, 2 Brits total.

The gals all romanced Liara (surprise!) with one, like me, also romancing Ashley. The guys romanced Ashley, Miranda and Tali ... it was great talking about ME with fans of Xena & ME. I also chatted with Adrienne Wilkenson about working with Bioware - she did voice work on SW:TOR and also played Maris Brood in the SW: Unleashed games.

At the CON the ME fans would say "Hello, Commander Shepard" to each other and laugh. And Liara has some Commanders just waiting to play with her again! Three of us gals talked about our FemSheps and Liara relationships. It was really interesting hearing other versions.

Come on March 6th!!!!!
