Whether I would choose that option would depend on the how, where and why.
If it felt true to the story that I am telling than I would play it through and cry as she dies.

I don't normally cry about... about anything really but IF Liara were to get killed in ME3, I think I'd need at least 15 minutes before I'm even able to play again. Only one thing that'd be more heartbreaking than getting Liara killed is Shepard getting killed, while in romance with Liara AND having promised her in Lotsb that he'd always come back. 
Just thinking about Liara's reaction would make me tear up.

That is actually a good thing, I think any way.  I think my biggest issue with Kaidan is that Raphael Sbarge VO made him sound like Carth Onasi. Carth was a wussy boy that ran when having to deal with the darkside femRevan.  I rather have a different sounding voice than go oh that voice reminds me of so and so.

When I played DA:O, I heard Dr. Chakwas in the Sister that was preaching in Denerim.  I really didn't like that too much either.

Okay, that was one of the funniest things I've heard in a while!  Like listening to the commercials that play while the credits are rolling on You Don't Know Jack.

Kaidan sounds almost exactly like Carth Onasi.  Which to me is a problem.  I didn't know Jennifer Hale did Bastilla until I was looking through imdb.com.  Very few of her characters sound the same.  

They redid voice actors in DA2 because they wanted to seperate the actors.  Cullen's VO also did Anders in DA:O, but they recasted Anders because of it.  Same with Isabela.  Same actress did Isabela and Anora in DA:O.  One of the issues I had with DA2 was the lack of continuity with looks and voices.  

Can you tell the same VA did Admiral Daro'Xen and Aethyta?  Let alone Morrigan?  I didn't know until I looked it up.  That is what I expect from VA.

I like it sometimes when you're listening to a conversation and while listening you're thinking: I've heard that voice before, but where? Same with the nameless Asari on Illium (who gives you the message from the rachni queen). There's no entry about her on the mass effect wiki but after thinking about it, I realized she's got the same VA as Morrigan as well.

Just thought about another one. In DA2 in the blooming rose, there's an elf (involved in the quest where you search for Ninette) and I didn't realize it until I looked it up, but he's actually voiced by Mark Meer.
