Yeah, it's still taking forever, since everyone's getting a free copy.

I like free stuff, but I really don't care for Dark Horse comics that much.  It's the art.  URGH.  Liara doesn't even look like Liara from what I've seen of her comic.  Even though I did buy that as a TPB over the weekend.  Got it with shipping for less than $15.  What a deal.  I didn't like the Star Wars comics either.  Same reason, horrible art.

If I like what I read from Liara's comic, I might buy the others in TPB form.  Easier that way.

I bet Shepard could just give Liara that silver orb from firewalker missions and she would be extatic :D

That's an awesome idea! Probably won't happen, but... that would be really sweet.

I always thought it a little odd that Shepard would just keep that thing on her coffee table when she must know Liara would probably be more interested in it.

I hope we find out what some of Liara's non-prothean, non-Shepard interests are in ME3.

I like what it does when Shep touches it.  Woomp.  Expands then goes back.  And yes, I think Liara would love that.  Maybe Shepard is waiting to give it to her for her birthday.  Posted Image

Here's a couple of Liara banners I made - just trying to spread the love around, while trying to get better at it. Posted Image

What about those Prothean pyramids you'd occasionally find while driving around in the Mako? Liara never had anything to say.

I imagined my Shepard pointing at the pyramid, yelling... "Hello! Prothean Pyramid!"

I thought that was strange too. Plus they were in pretty good nick considering they must have been at least 50000 years old.

Methinks that they wouldn't be anything particularly special since Liara's already spent fifty years looking at no-doubt similar structures. Remember; the galaxy is littered with Prothean ruins, chances are if it were a major site, Liara would have already visited it at one point.

And besides; if Shep ever finds any data discs, she can just go over them on the Normandy.

She doesn't spend all her time in that back room trying to set a record for seconds spent watching the Nyan Cat.

At least they gave Liara extra dialogue on Ilos. That was very cool.

That's why I always bring her. :D

Plus her biotic badassery.

And hearing her say "Who votes we take the vehicle into the creepy underground bunker?"

In my game play anytime they passed a pyramid or a point of interest to Liara, they would stop.

While Liara checked it out the other two killed time.

Ash: Power hike together.

Wrex: Stroll as Wrex talked about his past.

Tali: Card games.

Garrus: Target practice (sniper rifle contests)

Kaidan: Chatting about old Hollywood films from the 30's & 40's.

Well...not "Hello!  Prothean Pyramid!" but something similar and more Liara-esque.

Makes sense, it could take a while to retrieve the prothean data disc from the pyramid.

Ever since playing LotSB and hearing Liara's complaints about Shepard's driving I wish someone would complain about Shep driving the Mako. My overuse of the jump button makes it quite a bumpy ride, obviously Liara is too polite to complain in ME1.

Well, my Shepard let Liara drive the Mako once and it was even worse :P

Relatively speaking, Shepard's driving wasn't all that bad afterwards.

I complained every time I drove that POS.  I loved the banter during the chase scene.  We need more of that in ME3.

I love the Mako and hope it comes back for ME3 with added banter, not just complaints about Shep's driving though they should also sing along to the radio. While playing ME1 today I'm pretty sure I heard Liara draw her gun in the Mako, not sure if it was a glitch or if I just never noticed it before, maybe she really does hate Shep's driving.

I love her saying that line, protip though, if you take Kaidan with Liara on the mission he will say that line instead.
THE BASTARD! :P

I think she is the only squaddie who is fascinated by Ilos, everyone else is complains about the place as far as I remember.

P.S. One other note, if you take Liara and Kaidan to fight Saren, Liara would suggest letting the council die and Kaidan would suggest sacrificing human lives, which is really out of character for both imo xD
Also Liara is the one who headshots Saren to make sure he's dead. Total badass :P

By
the way I always had a bad feeling about that thing that it would at
some point rapidly expand inside your quarters and wreck the place,
making a huge dent in the ship's hull, not to mention crushing Shep in
the process, curse those Protheans and their expanding balls of doom!

@Kadzin--Remember the one you put the trinket from Shi'ala in ME that sorta knocked you down/out when you learn that the protheans were watching humans when humans were cavemen. The orbs look alike.

They seem to be like data storages of some sort. Memory banks perhaps?
Perhaps there is a "key" to acess shepard's artifact, it would be a neat little add if you happen to find one in ME3 and use it to discover the mysteries of the orb... together with Liara of course ;)

Oooo, nice idea.  That would be very cool.

I have a question for everyone on this thread.

Since Liara took over as the Shadow Broker, what do you think she did with the troops the yahg had?  Do you think she kept them?  Or let them go?  I just don't know.  Wondering what others thought on that.

She kept the mercernaries on the ship. If for nothing else than basic security.

I still have questions about how they let Shepard in, I mean he's a pretty famous person, and if he is visiting the SB regularly that might be strange, especially for mercs who worked for SB for a long time seeing Shep walk in and out of SB office in his casual wear, I don't know it might be just me but I think the guards would get suspicious, then again they might not give a f... damn since they are getting payed anyway.

Erm.. didn't Shepard and crew kill all the mercenaries on the ship?
I for one don't think Liara got any extra mercs to act as security for the Shadow Broker Base. Think about it, right now, none of her agents know who the shadow broker is. Why risk your identity being known by getting more mercs on your ship. Besides, with nobody except Shepard and Cerberus (okay this last one is a little creepy) knowing where the base is, I think she doesn't think she'll need more security. Also, Liara is strong enough on her own, she can wipe out a band of attackers by herself, without the need for some security.
