Being female however doesn't mean their "azure" is a pleasure box.

Though popping the pooper while giving a back massage seems to be the rough idea. That or a cuddle charge from the mindmeld causing a fruit explosion for humans.

Acctually, it can mean that the Azure can be. Is it not described as an erotic zone explicitly in LotSB? ;P

and popping the pooper? lol, so their is an aversion to her "azure" but not her pooper? lol. This I do not understand;P

It all seems natural to me, but i think some get insulted or embarrased by the idea of her having certain functional parts.

What I mean is, realistically, there's no reason for their "azure" to be a pleasue box. Mainly because they don't produce by something going in there. They produce by connecting minds.

And though we "assume" asari babies come out of there, they aren't build for probing. Then again, neither is a pooper.

We have many places on our bodies that aren't used to pro-create that feel absolutely amazing when touched right. So it wouldn't be far fetched to think that they would find a sort of pleasure there ... I can't believe we are talking about this ... should we now discuss sweat? Image IPB

I guess its up to each player to determine if that is a happy place or not. Or even if it looks like a female ... Why is "Funky Cold Medina" now playing in my head?

Although it's not exactly specified where the azure is, if Liara says it's slang reference to a sensitive spot on the Asari body; in the lower reaches, who am I to doubt it's validity... and who cares. Just go with the flow.

Think of it this way; humans can have non-sexual organ erogenous zones anywhere. Back of neck, small of back, ear lobes, even toes or behind the knee... the azure is obviously not one of these - it's a key common erogenous zone among all Asari. What it actually is is up to the individual player and allows our head canon to decide.

Another thing to consider, is all humans are female in structure and appearance in the womb until hormone production triggers primary sexual characteristics. This never happens for Asari due to the nature of their reproduction, but that changes nothing about what they started out as - Female. Why wouldn't they be 'intact'

lol - cool in a way as long as it doesn't cost me money.

The comments on the article - lol

Text from Wrex: 'Shepard.'

I was so dissapointed in Mass 2 when saying goodbye to my pure awesome Krogan didn't result in the same...

Shepard: 'Grunt.'

Grunt: 'Shepard'

I don't think the writers 'got' how awesome that - less is more - dialog was with Wrex for some of us. So much better than 'commander.' or 'I should go' - which I tend to say while flinging my thumb over my shoulder, right in the middle of coversations now just to see peoples faces.

Okay the text app, that's just a little too weird for me. Maybe Asari children just materialise from mind power?

By the sounds of things, Ali is still in NYC recording... maybe rerecording or perhaps they are still at work adding things. Wow. I'm still going to try to keep my expectations realistic, but I do get the sense this is going to be epic.

Same. I think big part plays that Asari are only female (shape) so you kinda feel better romancing her with female character rather than male. <3 Female Shepard

I think that boils down to personal preference.

The Asari aren't human so sexual preference may not be as locked in for them as it is for humans. For the Asari I think it is more about the mind meld than the physical aspects, and the sex of their partners doesn't matter all that much to them.

Recording is done. If they're doing anything at this point, it's the day one patch.

The meld is 'more' as it is a closeness and connection beyond physical and quite frankly, beyond our understanding. But I don't think it detracts from the importance of the physical. Because they have been bonding with other species for thousands of years, it stands to reason they 'get' the physical needs of others. Given Asari can get into a partners head, they should know. But this, perhaps may vary from one Asari to another. ME1 Liara was pretty damn passionate and expressed such physically without hesitation.

I'm sure that you'll find several threads discussion this issue. Let's just keep in mind that the asari's hat is that "everybody likes the asari" and leave it at that.

I'm assuming it can wait to Mass Effect 3, as players who haven't romanced anyone in ME1 or ME2 or are single going into ME3, can apparently start a romance with Liara. I've been avoiding spoilers from the leaks however, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

That being said, even if you can continue your romance with Liara in ME3 without LotSB, I'd highly recommend that you play Lair of the Shadow Broker first. While it may not be necessary for your relationship with Liara, it is the best Mass Effect releated DLC out there. In fact I'd go even further and say it is Bioware's best DLC for any game so far. If you haven't played Lair of the Shadowbroker you are truly missing out on a great gaming experience.

I doubt it since LotSB is technically optional DLC; however, what you are suggesting is (asuming you live in Western Europe or the USA) blasphemy.

Some might even suggest that it's the main reason for playing ME2. *cough* smudboy *cough*

Well actually from what i've read in the leaks; it's better if  you romanced and stayed faithful.

If they're still recording, it would probably be for DLC.

Liara is bi-shepual :P If you put Jane and Jhon in a room with Liara

Well, when an optional DLC is better than the core game it tells you something about the story/main plot fail, doesn't it. All the elements were there to make ME2 as epic as 1 plot wise, they just did a crap job assembling the parts together. All it would have taken was a bit of care in linking the people to the main plot a little better so there was a chance they would give a crap about helping you.

I'll give some really quick examples...
______

TIM or Hackett (covert; Told Tim to GFH and went to Fifth Fleet HQ on the Citadel): Go check out Omega. There is a plague there that looks to be engineered and it's very high tech; suspect Collectors.

Told by Batarian to speak with Aria: tells you more about the plague/Mordin. She name drops Archangel - complains about mercs tearing up the place trying to kill one Turian (offer to help). A one man army sounds good.

Data pad not for Aria - Provides location of dig sight with pyramid/vision

Find Mordin: Name drops Collectors and Blue Suns connection to contaminated biotic enhancer - suspects Collectors did it (no location yet). Mordin offers to join after helping him with plague.

Blue suns base; data pad name drops Han Olar on Illium.

TIM/Hackett: Further reports on Blue Suns, verifies Han Olar is tied to it and that Liara is there as well. Name drops Zaeed/Blue Suns connection (could have info) if you have the DLC (not recruitable until after talking to TIM/Hackett).

Go see Liara: Mind meld to see if Liara has insight - reveal: The collectors are tied to the Prothians, but not sure how. Pyramid is 2000 years post Prothian supposed extinction: Wow moment and connection mystery to solve. Huge plot moment 1.

Liara: name drops Samara looking into Blue Suns activity. Reports Han Olar is being held for questioning: Go check it out; Get Samara after helping her with the ship name...

From the ship com room: Call Hackett/Call Liara options open up or just have the old "message comin in" for further assignments.

TIM/Hacket - or (Liara as an IB - post pyramid/vision) - report on Collector tech purchased by Okeer - investigate: Gets you Grunt.
_______

In a few hours I could link everything into a real freakin plot. With little dialog changes and just recordings of some of TIMs current dialog by Hackett/Liara you could tie almost every squadie into the main plot, even if the link is kind of weak.

It's still a great game with very good, if not epic combat compared to ME1, but RPG and story just were not what we know Bioware was capable of.

You don't have to, but it is highly recomended. Judging by the leaks LOTSB seems to be the linchpin that hold Liara's entire character together.
