Play it. Try normal is you are that worried. This class is a tank. I've gone toe to toe with a Scion - charged it when it was full and killed it before it could touch me. It can't do it's shock wave when you are that close, just a pulse; and with up to 200% shields, Shep won't feel a thing before he/she makes it dead anyway.

No, not really. She's not military and she honed her natural biotic powers out of choice/protection because she would be alone on archeological digs much of the time. She also does not have any formal weapons training as far as I know.

No, not really. She's not military and she honed her natural biotic powers out of choice/protection because she would be alone on archeological digs much of the time. She also does not have any formal weapons training as far as I know.

Execpt being "pure biotic" really has nothing to do with Liara, it is not that important for her character. Biotics are just a weapon for her. It also goes against the class name theme where most (if not all) squadmates have their most dominant character trait or most important title as their class name.

Like Garrus' "Turian rebel" or Samara's "Asari justicar".

Her class skill should have been named "Asari broker" or something like that.

I liked the fact that in ME1 she had Electronics and first aid to reflect her technical abilities. I sort of wish she picked up a few infiltrator type traits, though it's more difficult with fewer abilities per character.

Yeah, true. I think they should have just left her class as Asari Scientist. First Aid and Electronics were nice, but the retcon on cover/healing and hacking due to RPG element oversimplification, and elimination of omingel kind of nixed the need for those skills.

I think Liara asking would be cute as long as there was an option to decline without ending the relationship. Sort of like Liara's response to the dating ... where if Shepard responded, "Liara, people like us don't marry" and she smiles and puts her arms around Shepard would be nice.

Hillbilly shotgun wedding with that crazy matriarch holding said shotgun and Liara pregnant ...

On the serious side, I'm really curious to see what happened to Shepard's crew, who the new people are on the Normandy (cause you know there will be new faces) and what Liara was doing while Shepard was detained. Honestly, there are so many questions going into ME3.

I know that there will be more crew banter as said by Casey Hudson, so I'm wondering if they will show friendships and non-friendships between the crew. Example: Liara and Wrex are friendly while Joker frustrates Liara with his sarcasm. As in, Joker likes her but she does not get him. That would make me laugh watching that back and forth.

If Joker and Chakwas are back with the Alliance I'm gonna find that a WTF? I'd prefer to find them along the way. Joker drunk in a bar, Chakwas working in a new med center ... and you run into them and have the option to bring them back on the Normandy. Well, Joker would'nt be an option. You couldn't stop him from following Shepard.

Wanting no spoilers ... I just like looking at the present under the tree and guessing. And that guessing game is getting more often as Christmas March 6th gets closer.  

Oh, and will my single femShep finally get Ash's attention. A girl can only dream.

I like all of those suggestions PMC, especially the Ash one. I have two FemSheps; a Paragon and a Paragade that don't mind her; they are very understanding Sheps. Ash's only hope to intrigue these Sheps, however, is a big ass groveling apology for the Horizon fiasco. Otherwise she's going to get the ole, "Bringing you wasn't my choice" dialog option.

I loved Horizon ... I know I'm one of the few.

It made me think of Pride and Prejudice when Elizabeth Bennet went off on Darcy. That major conflict that can destroy a relationship or the potential of a relationship. Having that moment has made the VS relationship the one that I'm most curious about. Liara was right there until LotSB came out and now that they have "made up" it's Piers and Cinder's stories that I am most interested in come ME3. They both still have the romantic suspense hanging there ... will they or won't they make it.

Piers, after the dust settled, realized that Ash had every reason to be angry, confused and hurt. The fact that Ashley's report supported Shepard and the e-mail was received Shepard knows that there is a chance for their relationships to heal. He also never would have asked her to leave the Alliance and "follow me!".

Now Cinder Shepard isn't so understanding and she has a "my way or highway" type of personality so poor Kaidan is going to have a tough time. Hopefully they can work it out but Kaidan will need to be the adult ... Cinder emotionally still needs to grow up more.

I like the demo look better, but both are nice. Her coloring is better in the demo IMO. I especially like the fact that her freckles are back to the more natural appearance of ME1 in both images. The lip gloss in the demo also allows her natural blue lips to show through; a nice compromise for the fans of original and LotSB I think. I also think she looks more like Ali at some angles now; as she should given what Ali has done for Liara and BW over the years.

I'm going to (get the demo), but I'm on PC and have to wait for the 14th... unless I missed something about the early access. Not really concerned. I can wait 3 days. I just got past Horizon on my Insanity run so I'm in no hurry. I'll get to see Liara in about 6 hours.

Can't decide for you but I'm probably skipping the demo. It's not much longer until March 9th and I've got TOR to keep me busy.


Also:

I just hit the weirdest glitch. I created a new Shepard to start my final ME1/ME2 playthrough in preparation for ME3. Maleshep with a ringbeard. I saved my game yesterday but now when I went to reload, my Shep's beard is gone. Either Ashley didn't like it and shaved my Shepard while I wasn't looking, or something much weirder went on. Anyone ever had anything like this?
