good artwork. i finished a hand drawn black, gray, and white drawing of liara(looks like liara_smiles or what ever it was called). but i cant scan it in since printers been broken for a few days.

One thing I'm liking from the demo vids I've seen so far is that squadmates have gone back to being useful again. In 2, especially on Insanity (which is what I play) they are pretty rubbish as opposed to in ME1 where my crack team (always including Liara because biotics were king in 1) used to run around and kill things all on their lonesome.

I just find it annoying when people's headcanon explicitly contradicts canon. Interpretation is fine, outright changes are...not.

Examples include me being told on another thread that Liara is somehow super-devoted to the point of a fetish to Shep when there's no canon evidence of this. Or Liara is somehow not shy and inexperienced around people when she specifically tells you in her dialogue that she is.

But hey what the hell do I know, I've only played both the games multiple times. *shrugs*

I'm not saying it's everywhere, just that whenever the subject of alternate pairings for Liara come it, the few people who do contribute to the subject are advocating Liara and Miranda.

Really? Weird. I see Liara/Feron somewhat (I don't like Feron so I don't ship them at all). Otherwise Liara works with Kaidan/Garrus/maybe even Tali/Jacob.

Kaidan/Liara and Garrus/Liara would make for some great fanfic if done right.

I have come across the Liara/Miranda thing, but I would say the Jane/Liara/Miranda is popular too. I don't have a head-cannon. ^^;

Ah... why? As long as they don't claim it as canon, why not?

I, for example, choose to believe that Shepard didn't "die" (defining "death" to mean permanent, irreversible clinical death) because their body was saved by an emergency "parachute" + trauma care functions of their hard suit. That clearly contradicts canon, but who cares as long as it allows me to enjoy the game more?

I suppose I should clarify that I don't care about what you do with your consenting headcanon in the privacy of your own game/room. I do care when you parrot it to me in a social setting in a discussion about a character and expect me to not call you out on it.

I also don't see those two getting together or having a threesome. I think they'd get along well enough, just not in that way. And even if she is bisexual (no evidence for that so far) I don't think Miranda is the type that likes to share.

Aren't all the characters in ME3 bisexual now all of a sudden?  I thought I heard that somewhere, that femshep and manshep can romance anyone they want or something...
