Wrex seems to have fond memories of those times even when you see him on Tuchanka and comes pretty close to giving Shepard a bear hug. That experience changed both him and Liara.

Guys i still haven't played the demo (since i don't have any time) and i had a dream about Liara that they ruined her character in ME3 =O please let me know that she is still the cute blue muffin from the previous series..

Visually I think she is cuter than ever:wub:.  Can't say character wise, she gets like two lines of dialogue apart from the combat lines so no way to judge.  But I think she will turn out to be the same Liara we all know and love.

You know, everytime I encounter threads or post whining about Liara (every fifth thread, in other words), I long for a good banner sig or pic that says something to the effect of:

U Jealous Non-Liaramancer?
Or
Liara Fans - You *wish* you were as privileged

Maybe not the best text, but you get the essence of it. Anyone interested? Am I the only who feels like they keep going "Oh another Anti-Liara thread" every few hours?

Anyone else think Liara should be a sentinel?
Given that she spent 50 years studying Prothean tech(which is extremely advanced) it seems illogical that she isn't more of a techy

Kotobukiya's Bishoujo Liara T'soni figure has been a familiar site to Tomopop readers, and she appeared at Toy Fair. But once again, it turns out Kotobukiya has a few surprises up their sleeve with their rendition of the lovely Asari holding an M5 Phanalax heavy pistol.

Robert Lyle Paske from Kotobukiya's International Sales and Marketing Department talked to Tomopop's Keith Polott, revealing a few new things about Liara. First, her base will have two different inserts (a Mass Effect logo and an N7 logo) that will be translucent instead of the white placeholder. But more importantly, Liara's the first Bishoujo figure in the series to have a ball-jointed head, which means you can pose her head a bit, as Keith shows off in the gallery.

Finally, Kotobukiya just got approval of this ... but remember how those new Mass Effect 3 figures are going to have DLC? Yeaaaaaaaah ... Liara is, too. It'll be exclusive DLC you'll get with buying the figure and it'll be for Xbox 360 and PC only. No word on what it'll be exactly, but I expect not everyone will be happy with the move.

Now if only I actually liked the Bishoujo face on that statue........

When they showed that statue on their FB page long ago they got a ton of bad feedback on it.  They ended up changing some things, but the face is still not doing it for me.

People just have to "hate" on characters, some more than others (looks at Liara & Ashley ) ... I have learned that if a thread appears to be another one of "those" threads I just avoid it. Easy peasy!

That's why I wish that in the fan threads they wouldn't bash on other characters but focus on the character of the thread and if they speak of other characters it is in how they relate to that character of the thread. Crapping on other characters just for the sake of crapping only invites negative feelings, in my opinion. You also run the risk of offending a fellow fan because some of us like more than one character.

There are some threads that discourage character bashing and other threads that thrive on it ... I avoid the ones that encourage and happily participate in it. But that is just me. I get that others thrive on character bashing. To each his own.
For me, life is too short to wade in ugly!

Oh god... Cute blue muffin is maybe the sweetest way ever to describe Liara... Back to reading fanfics.

Sometimes we find a connection so amazing, so complete, that nothing else can ever compare and we ourselves get lost in trying to reason with it. Understand it. My bondmate may not be blue, but she had the soul and understanding of an Asari. She knows me, completely.

Totally in character for a military officer. They are geeks for that sort of thing.

In my headcanon Shepard has on his wall an oath once uttered by the warriors of ancient Athens:

Yeah, you'd get close to people you're saving the galaxy with.

That is why I find it surprising when I was here last night and read that they didn't think Liara was good friends with Tali or Garrus.  I think she becames friends with everyone on the Normandy.  I also think Shepard is her best friend.  LI or not.  Liara cares deeply for Shepard.
