When was Wrex ever mean to Liara in ME1?  He was the one that said her biotics would be helpful.  Wrex seemed to be the only one besides Shepard to trust Liara at that point in the game.

I wasn't implying that Wrex and Liara don't get along. But saying "there's no one else I'd rather have along" implies a pretty close friendship that I didn't expect from standard ME1 squad interaction. I absolutely love that the squadmates are developing relationships with each other independant from Shepard's influence, but I thought this instance in particular was odd and I wanted to see what other people thought about it.

@Yuqi Thank you. I'm not done posting all of it yet. I have it planned out. Last chapter is 5 March. I thought it was a good way to kill the time until ME3 comes out.

@PMC I will be very surprised if Miri and Jack get along in ME3. They didn't before, but it has been a while, so who knows. Maybe Shep's influence changed them both.

Like I said, I felt some tension between Shep and the VS in the demo. Vega asks, "You know the Commander?" Both answered the same, "I used to." It was the looks and tone from both Meer and Hale that leads me to believe there is going to be some issues to be resolved between them. Shep's Thanks didn't seem all the happy towards the VS.

You also need to take into account that mission is further along in the game.  And Liara might have helped Wrex when she was the SB or after she is on the Normandy.

Of course Liara is an Adept. But my Shepard was an Adept, too. So I thought they would rock with Warp Bombs, like LotSB. Warp CD on my Shepard was way too long. If that's not going to happen in the Retail version, then I'm happy.
But that's why I was disappointed in the Demo.

For the demo, one thing you can to do is to use Throw Bombs.  Since you can evolve Throw not to use up cooldown if it Combos, this leaves you only limited by Liara's cooldown on Singularity, which is short if you pick the right powers

The only thought I had about the Crew and Liara, was about James Vega. He is like Commander Shepard in the first game, very clueless. I always got the impression that Liara confused the hell out of Kaidan in ME1.

Isn't it funny how we all bring luggage to the table and therefore hear lines differently? Since I have Shepards that romanced both VS I'm sure that I'll have a different takeaway as well.

I just love this game!

I'd say Sentinel, Adept, and Vanguard. Mainly for Warp expositions.

I think adepts, because both can have singularity and warp, so if you chose the right powers and only the needed weapons you can have really low CD, so you can prepare warp bombs quite quickly

Melded with liara first playhrough 2,in first game was easy choise,ash had major brain damage and rip to redem her granpa sins,in me2 before dlc choose taly(cause i wanted to see face behind mask),but rly doubt this realation can work(cmon she is cute girl with bucket over hers head and allergenic 2 sex).Would stayed with liara if they allowed it.Choosing between liara and miranda is kinda interesting,but dnt like miranda face,both have great asses and shape,but when it comes to psycho profile liara character is more mine type,kinda dn't like bad girls type,they are unworth trouble bag comming with them,looking forward liara romance or female reported in me3,imo good games should have both blood and sex content,glad game devs understand this.

Chris Priestly has a thread "This is a crazy idea, but DONT import your saves the first time through" and I think I'm going to try that in place of my Stupid Shepard run. This way I'll see how the game looks without all choices, LotSB, etc ... and when I kill a character that I love all is good. It wasn't EW or PV Shepard.

I'm really curious to see the game difference between playing LotSB & not playing it.

I think it just boils down to some players wanting to headcanon certain characters being disliked, because they (the player) hates that character. But just because a player feels a certain way, doesn't mean characters on the squad feel the same way. That applies to Shepard as well. Shepard for example mourns the loss of Kaidan or Ashley on Virmire, whether or not the player hated the character that died.

That's actually not why ... I love Tali and Liara.

I just never saw Tali and Liara being "friends" ... ie, chatting for hours and hanging out. They would have a respect for one another's abilities and completely trust each other on the field ... but off-duty I don't really see them being best buds because they are different personalities and have different interests. 

Tali is an absolute techie to me and so she would be around people like Engineer Adams and Liara would spend her time with individuals like Dr. Chakwas. Never thought they would hate one another just not attend tupperware parties together.

But what happened on the Normandy and the characters is really left to each gamer ... unless you are talking about Miranda & Jack.

I should probably have been more clear that I was just talking about the players who can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that just because they (the player) hates Liara, doesn't mean that Wrex should also. Once Mass Effect 3 gets released and we see a lot of more of the interactions between the squad mates, I'm sure the "I hate character X, so why doesn't character Y also hate character X" threads will be more frequent.

Not everyone on the crew may necessarily be best friends, but I think for the most part it is canon that at the least they all respect each other, and have each other's back. (perhaps with a couple exceptions, like Miranda & Jack)
