Anyhoo.  I'm all confused.  I don't have the demo so I can't play mp but you guys are making it sound really fun!  And even people who said they weren't going to get the demo are playing!

It is a lot of fun. Especially when you unlock the alien races.
But I don't think I will play the MP in the finished game.

There are just too many bugs. I tolerate some game breaking bugs in ME1+ME2 and I will accept them in ME3.
But in the MP, where I can't save, that's not accaptable. I know it's only a demo, but they never fixed game breaking bugs after SW:TOR Release, never in the SP games. I don't see why they will fix them in the ME3 MP.

I will save the Galaxis with Liara 1on1.

Anyone else hope that there's an ending where Shepard dies to save Liara (And stops the Reapers, obviously)? Maybe leaving Liara alone with a child? I could really use this scene for the sequel to my Liara/FemShep short film.

Of course, I'd love an ending where they get married and have kids too!

I doubt there will be a wedding in the actual game but I guess you could add that bit in yourself if you really wanted to

The idea has been discussed abit during LOTSBs, so it is possible that it could be included. Also it is not beyound bioware to kill off the main character in the end of their games. After all, It is a war story it is not big on everyone surviving even the hero. It is bound to happen sooner or later though, that shepard dies and liara is left alone or with child due to the differences in lifespans.

I'm too much of a sucker for happily ever afters so I don't want Shep and/or Liara to die.

I really hope they give lots of choices about the ending and if they don't i would be really pissed off..

Wedding - Only AFTER the game in an epilogue or something
Children - Definitely not during the game

Also: No Shep dying please. While a story like this almost requires a 'hero dies' ending, I want the best ending possible.

I don't really want Shepard to die either, but as a video-editor/creator I think that scene would be amazing, I've even picked out some beautifully sad music for it!

Personally, I'd like loads of different endings, choices determining which one you get.
Then I can play around with all of them to make the video!

Here's the first part of my Femshep/Liara Short Film by the way, just in case any of you are interested.

ETA: I agree that having a child during the game wouldn't really work... Especially during the war with the Reapers.

I could definitely work with a wedding, and them having kids afterwards though.

I still kind of want at least one ending where Shepard dies, but still stops the Reapers.

I heard you meet liara right after earth on mars but nothing else on subject.

the enemy's in ME3 Demo are ranged from easy to run and fire. saw a few images with the same map but with Husks during demo.

Yeah I know, but I want to at least experience it before the 6th. Either way, I will get it once the full game comes out, no matter how many missions I have to play. I keep hearing how awesome the asari adept is. XD

Every time I go outside this thread and roll elsewhere I find myself braving a sea of gibbering hate regarding trivial things such as weapon holstering and the like.

Then I come back to this thread and I'm like "Ahhh..."

As for romance endings, personally I'm hoping for a less overtly fluffy ending. Take for instance the ending of Gears Of War, the very last bit with Marcus and Anya, I think that'd be a great ending. As for the marriage and kids issue, yeah, I'd like that to happen to, but I figure it would be discussed earlier in the game, thus being implied by the end without going all out on the "THIS IS A WEDDING. MELT YOUR HEARTS." aspect.

Yeah, but in Gears of War, Anya and Marcus were not really a couple beforehand. An ending like that with a couple like Shepard and Liara, just wouldn't be enough.

Though I'm not sure what you mean regarding the gloss tbh. I didn't notice anything unusual in the demo.
And the screenshot is actually from it's second level


Regarding the ending I'd have nothing to say against something teethrotting sweet as long as it's not too specific and cheesy in it's presentation.  I'd much rather have an open ending, than something that goes against my own imagination for my Shep's future with Liara.

Give me a bit of fluff talk, maybe a dialogue wheel with some open ended choices and a nice kiss +  fadeout and I'll be happy

Touche, alright so not exactly like that, but somewhere along those lines. I don't think the ending to ME3, Liara romance or otherwise, should just jump to weeks/months after the climax of the game takes place, like it probably would for a wedding. And it would have to jump even longer into the future for there to be kids.

 The having children part could be possible, they could have Liara say "I'm pregnant" or something near the beginning of the game... Then - assuming it takes 9 months too defeat the Reapers - Hey presto! Babies! 

Okay, so that might not work.  I don't mind them skipping ahead to show the marrige/babies, but it might be hard for them to allow us to carry on playing (like in ME2) if that happened...
