Aethyta knew Benezia was with Saren.  We don't know how long she had been on Illium for, but she did know.  Only Benezia's acolytes know why she joined Saren.  She seemed to have done so with good intentions, but as the saying goes,  The path to hell is paved with good intentions.

It might not have been widely know either that Benezia joined up with Saren.  Liara was quite surprised when she found out.  I know Liara and Benezia hadn't talked in years, but if it was public knowledge, I would thing she would have heard something about it.  

Saren has Soverign for years, who knows how long Benezia was with him.

Seriously, why can't we call him out for that one in 2? I think one of the main reasons I want to do an ME fanfic is so half the SR2 crew has to hold my Shepard back from ripping out the door to EDI's AI node and unlocking her. (I'm not sure they'll succeed, for that matter.)

True. I forgot that statement at the time I made the post. So it is possible that we will hear more about Benezia.

Awesome to see there's another part to one of the only MaleShep/Liara fanfiction I've found. Most of the fanfiction revolves around FemShep, which is fine and all but since I prefer MaleShep characters I also prefer maleshep fanfiction. Keep up the good work:wizard:

I'd really like Bioware to expand on Liara/Aethita storyline it doesn't have to be huge just maybe a minor side mission. As far as Benezia goes though it would be nice if Liara talked about her mother a bit more, since we pretty much learned nothing about who she was besides that she was a powerful and influential matriarch and had a following.

Heh, it's certainly been continued but the problem is I have writing ADD. I write 6 versions of each chapter, get frustrated and leave it alone for a month.

You should post it, but not all at once. One thing I've learned is to have your next chapter in it's editing phase but almost ready to go in case you get writer's block. I have ch.6 ready to go, I'm just editing it properly now. (I didn't edit 5 at all... just wanted it out the door.)

But I won't clog up this thread anymore about Fan Fic.





I have a request! Does anyone have a high res picture of the N7 Collector's edition armour that Liara recieves? The only image I have is from the mass effect wiki or the ME3 site, which isn't that great. I want to see how it looks.

Now the question I'm referring to is the one about Shepard getting a wedding with his/her LI in ME3. To which Casey Hudson replies: "I think we've got you covered."

Hope this isn't just wishfull thinking but the way I see it, we might get an actual option to marry (or at least propose to) Liara in ME3. Not sure what to think of it just yet. Exitement? Happiness? Looking forward to comments from other Liara fans.

Thanks for the advice! The thing us, I've had it uploaded for a couple of months now, and I've edited it and read it over a few times now, the problem i keep running into is the question if i want to fit more story in beween the chapters, I've already added a whole chapter right in the middle because I felt that the gap between the events was too big.

You know in ME2 in a bar on the citadel you can get drunk pass out and wake up in the bathroom where a random turian is taking a leak, I always wished your squadmates would comment on that, and I wish I could bring Liara for that, that would be hilareous.

As far as getting Liara drunk, I don't think we will ever see that happen as long as she comes into Shepard's quarters "for drinks"

This has been confirmed by Casey Hudson that it is just a concept art, kind of like a test for colors and palettes for the CE items, so even if you do see it in HQ, it's nowhere near the final one

I bet Liara had quite a bit of drinking experience in university. Unless another recreational drug is more popular with asari. In any case I'm sure she spent some time in uni getting wasted, though the past 50 years she probably got out of practice. 

I think Liara would hold drunky Shep's hair back if she was being sick, that's the mark of a good friend in my book.

Has Liara actually worn a casual outfit? In ME1 she wore that scientist outfit and in ME2 she either carried her information's broker dress, or the Shadow Broker outfit. I certainly won't mind a more casual outfit, but to me it would be enough if she just took off the jacket.

There were at times I wish Shepard could either call out TIM for his lies especially about Liara working for the SB.  But every time someone told Shepard to not trust Cerberus, I wanted to say, "I don't."
