I have a question. Apparently you can choose what weapons you want your squad to use in Mass Effect 3, what weapons are you guys going to give Liara? Also, which of Liara's biotic powers will you upgrade first? Personally I'll probably going to give her an assault/sniper rifle and an SMG, as for powers, I'll upgrade singularity and warp first, maybe stasis or pure biotic later.

Will give her either a smg or a pistol. For both gameplay reasons and story reasons.

Pure biotic is Liara's class skill. Even through the name itself makes zero sense.

Maybe a sniper rifle and that's all. In ME2, when I had either Zaeed, Legion, Thane or Garrus, I didn't bother having them switch to their Assault Rifles/SMGs and just told them to stay with their sniper rifles for the entire mission. Zaeed w/ a Incisor was beastly.

Pure Biotic is, if I remeber correctly, the equivalent of Alliance Training for humans in the MP, basically it is a passive upgrade that improves biotic abilities (damage, duration cooldown etc.) and I belive it also improves weapon damage.

I would give her the two pistols, not only do I think they suits her (both aetistically and combat orientated) and they are the weapons that has the least weight, and thus gives her the fastest cooldown for her powers. 

powerwise I think I would give her the passive and stasis, which finally have become much more effective than earlier, and warp ammo. as these will compliment my own adept rather well, of course I would still unlock warp and singularity for her so she can use them, if they aren't already.

Mattock and a shotgun for Liara. I'm a Vanguard and close quarter fight with that class, so my squadies need in your face fire power. I'll decide on powers once I start playing. I max out charge, the rest usually only get a point or two. I also only carry a shotgun in MP and will likely carry that over to my SP build to keep CD at +80%.

I wonder if Liara can use those bonus weapons you get if you preorder the game? They seem to be pretty good/powerful but I can't tell for sure since the game has yet to be released.

The M55 Argus is an upgraded Mattock.  Liara can have the Locust or the N7 SMG because I don't like the SGM.

I can't really answer the weaponry until I know how the weight/cooldown works.  But I'll be focusing on keeping her cooldowns fast and worry about other stuff later.  So probably SMGs, Pistols, maybe the Avenger

Upgrade wise, I'll initially focus on Pure Biotic and Stasis.  Get everyone's cooldowns low and get those combo's flowing.  Or if I'm not playing a Biotic, then let her set me me for some headshots.

(I have a build planned for Sentinel that would rely on focusing her on Singularity spam though.  If she can cast one every 2-3 seconds and I can cast free throws with every combo, then I can say to hell with my own cooldown and carry some really big guns)

Shhhhhh... don't go out there. I stay here all the time.  The world beyond is just plain scary.  I even ask my non-liara stupid computer questions here because I'm scared of the rest of the BSN.  Luckily these guys and gals are uber nice (minus PMC of course but I'm sure you've already realized this) so they answer all my questions.
