Long time stalker, first time poster.
Not sure if this idea has been floated throughout this thread, apologies in advance if it has. Regarding the Shadow Broker DLC and 'little blue children' dialogue, how would everyone feel if at some point Liara gives birth to a child whose face is the exact same as our own Shepards (not just the default but our own creations)? I am aware of no genetic material would be shared in their union and thus making this idea improbable, however how cool would it be (in general game purposes) if a little Asari looked like our Shepard. At which point in the game this would occur I haven't really thought of but I would love it personally! I only thought of this idea when I saw one of the videos (name slips me at present) and Shepard reaches out his hand to a child in an air vent. This indicates to me that they have the graphics and design of a child already made which can be tweaked and turned into a little Asari, and can possibly be done.
So yeah, hopefully this hasn't come up in the thread at some stage, I did a quick skim and children are mentioned but not ones having the face of shepard. I'd appreciate some feedback on this, see what everyone else thinks.

Don't expect this to be answered in ME3. Benezia was pretty much dropped in ME2.
Agreed. Although I think I read somewhere that the devs were still planning what to do with the Liara/Aethya storyline?
On another note... good to see you're still around! I put up a chapter of "Who We Are" today.
Awesome to see there's another part to one of the only MaleShep/Liara fanfiction I've found. Most of the fanfiction revolves around FemShep, which is fine and all but since I prefer MaleShep characters I also prefer maleshep fanfiction. Keep up the good work:wizard:
I've recently started a new fic, which features M!Shep/Liara. It can be viewed here: http://www.fanfictio..._a_Sea_of_Stars
Essentially, it's a story where the Normandy SR1 survives the Collector ambush. A lot of things change as a result.

As funny as your idea would be, I don't think we should start adding things that completely go against established lore. This is usually what causes a lot of arguments. Fact is the father of an asari will never share DNA and as such the child will always only resemble her mother. Aethyta talks about getting a bit of her father's mouth but to me this is just jesting. It can either be contributed to her more violent personality (which can be the result of being raised by an asari commando and a krogan).
I wouldn't mind to get some kind of epilogue a few decades into the future and notice Shepard and Liara's child (if they have any) would have some sort of personality that resembles Shepard's. For personality is something that doesn't seem to be established at birth and can be changed depending on how they're raised. But an Asari who physically looks like her father, I don't think that's a route BioWare should take.

Great. I'll read that later since I don't have too much time right now.
I wonder if a survival situation in the ME universe could be comparable to current day survival in a jungle or something. Think of the possibilities. Joker didn't refuse to abandon the normandy and was put in an escape pod by some other crewmembers, it launched leaving only Liara and Shepard still on the normandy. With a little struggle they manage to both get inside the last escape pod, at the moment of launch the normandy is attacked again, causing the escape pod to fly into an entirly different direction.
Instead of landing on Amada like the rest of the crew, Shepard and Liara land on an entirely different planet (...)
I could personally see this working out. Add the drama of the rest of the crew THINKING Liara and Shepard are gone and you've got yourself a nice story.

I agree, but what they could do give the child a very unique coloring. Wasn't there something that the crest coloring indicates the father species?
Or was it something else?
I think so. Some people contributed the fact that both Liara's and Aethyta's crests seemed a little more 'scaley' to the fact that they had a Krogan ancestor. Still, though outclassed by Salarians I doubt the Asari would say 'We don't take DNA from the father species' without first testing the theory. I imagine a DNA test in the ME universe would solve that...
On the other side, wasn't it Liara who said something like taking the best traits from the father species and pass it on to their daughters? I think she says that in ME1 if you ask to learn more about the Asari.

New Liara photo maybe. Unless she's going to put on some blue body paint.
Either way, sweet.

I think it's the Bioware Base for the San Diego Comic Con. Maybe she will do a funny voiceover with Liara.
A little play between Jennifer and Ali on the red carpet like they did during the Spike awards? Anyway, San Diego is a little too far away for me so I'll miss out unfortunately:(.
On a more positive note: An image of James Vega wearing casual clothing is circulating the forums. It was originally shared by Casey Hudson. Showing that there's a good chance all squad members will be wearing casual clothing on the Normandy. What do you think Liara will wear? Her labcoat? A dress? Or maybe something new. I'm hoping for something with short sleeves:)

I'd like her to either dressed in crew Alliance uniform T-shirt, or something very asari. Not a dress, since this is war, but something casual that she can while slipping in her suit. And I think she's outgrown the old labcoat from ME1.

Guy do you know how Liara looks when she thinks of secret fun times in Shepard's private quarters?
Like this:xD
I think she thinks of the secret fun times and then figures she and Shepard will have some private time after the next mission (in ME3). Then she'll look like:

Liara: Hmm, what do we do tonight?

Yes, If my memory serves me correctly, Liara was the one that said that in ME1. I"m about 99% sure on it. I could be wrong. Im not Ms. Lawson, I'm not perfect. :innocent:Robhuzz wrote...
