It's because.....


Miranda is the new 'favorite' because of 'dat ass' and *mumbles curses at certain xboxlive players* " dat accent. (Working in marketing twists your perception of things.)

And I have noticed that HIllis and Jen have been subtly marketing the E.L.L factor. Urrgh this is reminding me too much of the Xena debarcle from the nineties.*pinches bridge of nose*  I ship both, just in different languages.

Looks like I have to be with Liara too. I guess romancing Liara in the first game and romancing Miranda in the second game was Bioware's trick of making things more difficult in my game. Miranda was pretty much a one night stand.

Back then I was planning on getting back Liara but decided to stick with Miranda. But I guess I am forced to be with Liara.

No, but I have read both versions of the script; and worked with many other game scripts in my time. What's been revealed so far,has followed the second script  almost to a tee. Its very good, and I only see minor changes from the second script thus far. (If your worried about anything don't be.. unless your a jacob fan.)

I accidently romanced him,because I wasen't used to the dialouge system.(Played DA first.)  I don't hate any ME character really..my disdain towards miranda is because of what she is marketed to be. Sharing her regional accent has cause me alot of issues on me3 multiplayer..*Sighs*

And has anyone else noticed Liara looks a bit more like hillis now. Mo-cap, maybe?

If the movie doesn't get cancelled they could just get Hillis in a mo-cap suit like they did in avatar or with davy jones in potc. Then facial structure and body build wouldn't really matter and Liara would keep her original voice.

PS (to all). I would be the last to say that i haven't gone off topic too but Why the talk about Miranda and Jacob this is the Liara thread.

lol - I've mentioned Liara's appearance moving closer to Ali's a few times. I see it as a nod from BioWare for all the work she's put in to making such a loveable character. It would be nice if the reason was so they could just cast her in the film, but I'm not sure that will happen either.

As for ME2 Squadie arcs in ME3; if you really paid attention to how ME2 was structured, the dirty dozen was a toss away cast, and so were most of the romances; one nighters, dead lizard walking, Jacob - ug. The VA's and Liara's contrived ****iness/coldness and Shep's inability to sound the least bit intelligent during the VA conversation... pissing off the player so they may 'cheat' - totally contrived.

Any Squadie in ME2 that gets even a bit part in 3 is lucky. Any that actually have a decent arc, it's a pander to their popularity. In my op BW really didn't put a lot of thought into the consequences of bloating the Mass Effect cast the way they did, but it does sound like they managed to clean up the mess. We'll all see how that turns out in what will probably be a very long drawn out week.

Jacob has fans?    I don't care about Miranda.  If BW wants me to take her romance seriously, then they wouldn't have had Miranda meet Shep on the engineering deck.  That to me seemed more like a quicky than two people that actually care about each other.

I don't even have a planned import with Miranda being Shep's LI.

The only romance I care about is Liara's.
