It is a shame Liara's armor from the comics never made it into the games. I think that armor looks badass, minus the heels.

 I feel like this may be the only thread I visit for the next week. Things just seem to be going crazy.

And I sincerely feel awful for Bioware. Despite what anyone may think about the game, I truly don't believe they deserve all the hate being thrown at them. 

I still absolutely love them as a company, and I know I will love ME3. 

I still feel bad for it all though.

*raises hand* I did. And, I didn't have the Dark Horse intro comic either (my Cerberus Network code didn't work > ). So first time I played LotSB, I kept wishing Shep could start a relationship with this strong, beautiful Asari, but no dice. Grr! So I broke down and paid for CN and started my whole game over, lol.

Having watched ME1 youtube vids, she was a sweetheart. I plan to pick up the ME trilogy for PC after my college semester ends and play a full-trilogy run for each combat class. Probably at least half of those Sheps will end up with Liara...

After reading certains things, I feel like the criticism they are recieving is justified.

I don't play on the PS3, but ME2 was the first Mass Effect game that I played and the first time I met Liara. At first I didn't really care for the ME series, but when I read about it on some other gaming forum I got interested and decided to try it out. I really liked it and also played the various DLC parts of the game. When I finished LotSB for the first time I tought that Liara was a really cool character and later found out that she was a squadmate in ME1, so I bought it during a Steam sale and has been a Liara fan ever since.

@TMA I'm a PS3 player and when I think about it for too long I get depressed. I feel a bit shafted but I'm very happy I even get to play the game. Needless to say I am extremely excited for ME3 since it will be the first title I'll get to experience along side everyone else and I'll get more than a kiss and an assgrab from Liara.

Oh of course! I'm not saying that people aren't entitled to express their opinions on any plot points. (I haven't read any spoilers, so I am in the dark about the basis of their complaints) I just believe that their views could be expressed much more responsibly and civily.


So I do agree with you, Lizardviking, the criticism could be 100% justified, I just don't feel the hate is.

But forgive me, I have derailed us. Allow us to get back on track?

So I'm def staying here for now on I stopped by the Tali thread because they are normally pretty civil and spoiler free, just to see what was going on and all i read were complaints not gonna say on what part thankfully i jumped to the last page in the thread and the first comment i saw was just a generic I hate the _____ part of the game without any real details before i left

I'm with you. I bought ME2 and didn't bother buying ME1. (I didn't think it was important. LoL)
But I liked her after Illum.
My first impression of Tali and Garrus was, that they really didn't care that much about Shepard and Ashley was so mean.
It took me by surprise when Liara gave my Shepard a big hug.

So I bought ME1, checked out female Shepard and was delited that Liara was an option for everyone.

<-- PC/360 hybrid player here (with a leaning favor towards pc). Ps3... no offense, has a 200 ft. restraining order from my house. -.- But i did play me2 first - i got as far as...tuchunka before berating myself for starting a story in the middle and went and purchased ME1. I also had the set intention to romance kaidan that first playthrough but...after noveria, 30 attempts of flying my mako over a cliff, and Liara's mom...man it struck a chord and that particular shepard has been hooked to her ever since.

In my opinnion Liara's armor looks better here than in the pictures previously posted in this thread, it also seems as if her chest is back to regular size again.

Nice, but not overwhelmingly awesome. I mean Liara looks amazing, but I don't like it when they hide character eyes behind glasses.
