I just had a really really nice romance scene with her (not a final one if you know what I mean). Liara is just an amazing character in this game.

Wow this game is great so far and so emotional. Yeah man Liara is so awesome and I even like Ash a lot more since ME1.

 I am absolutely LOVING the romance stuff with Liara, and I'm only over 2 hours into the game!

Can't wait to keep playing tonight. The back and forth lines between Shepard and the squad is fantastic.

So far, I think there was an overreaction to the auto-dialogue. I think the auto-dialogue I have heard fits very well. Shepard is just an extension of myself as the previous two games. :happy:

Oh....and Liara is freaking AWESOME.

Why is Shepard wearing underwear in that scene where Liara isn't? ["Golden mean" compromise between DA1 and ME1 style maybe?]

20hrs in, content is really top-notch and extensively cute. "Flatterer" line with kiss scene, time-archive scene and then kind of a date on Citadel. A little inconsistency though, Liara mentions friendship again contrary to fact I already declared feelings towards her before Palevan's Moon mission.

Took a lot of screenshots, any idea where shall I store them so I can show those to you, guys?

Edit to add: Beat the game in 14ish hours (narrative difficulty + charge + nova)... probably literally hours of unskippable cutscenes.

Presently I have absolutely zero motivation to do another replay, and will go back to MW3 multiplayer so you won't see me around for online matches.

Well, I suppose I should thank Bioware for helping me get that 1st MSci.

What that guy said, but in English:  If you import from ME2 having romanced Liara in LotSB, does it show as "romanced no-one in ME2" on the import screen?  Cuz it does for me and its kind of freaking me out.  Before I import this and get 10 hours in, I wanted to make sure its doing it right.

All you Liara lovers out there, I _know_ you downloaded LotSB and I _know_ what you did with Liara at the end.  So why doesn't it show anything on import?

Well, technically you'd have to answer "None of the above" if asked which of the ME2 romance options Shep pursued; LotSB outcome needs at least a 2nd variable for the possible combinations.

I could list what I think would have been affected by that variable but that would probably be a spoiler.

Mine didn't either but his decisions from ME1 and ME2 did. However there is a way around it though. I just used his face code from ME2 and it worked. Well when I played the demo when I used the face code for my FemShep it didn't quite work but I hope it works on the full game.

Did anyone else have Liara say something about "not being together for years", dispite having played the LotSB DLC and reconnecting during the Normandy scene 6 months ago?

I belive she was supposed to mention something about the tour on the Normandy....

Could it possibly be because my acheavements were reset (in ME2) after I reformatted my computer to windows 7?

Is this a bug?

For the record, the latter's not a bug. You can still decide to be with someone else up until that point (even if you tell Liara you want to rekindle your relationship in that first conversation in her office...) so we needed a way to definitively communicate to the player "OK, listen, this is absolutely it for choosing your one true romance". I went for the most obvious paraphrase possible to avoid any confusion over whether this was the moment you became a serious, together-forever item.

The former problem, Liara saying it's been years since she saw you instead of mentioing how she visited you in LotSB... I'm afraid that does sounds like a bug. The problem didn't appear during testing and I'm not sure why it's popping up now, but it looks like the game isn't recognizing that you had an intimate moment with Liara onboard the Normandy in LotSB. My sincerest apologies for that.

I didn't see an option for wanting to be more than friends even though I romanced her in both games. He just says "So are you"

Nah, that's not what people are talking about. The cabin talk doesn't have any dialogue splits that depend on having a romance.

Incredible experience so far. So happy to have Liara back, and I've loved all the conversations and interaction so far. Not hard really, she's so adorable....     I'm obviously collecting screenshots like a madman, but from what I can tell I'm not allowed to post images for a while so I'll control myself.   

I'm about 6 ish hours in (and about to head off for SXSW so no ME3 for about 2 weeks which will be murder). Very impressed at this point.

Yeah, mentioned the same problem, it's a little inconsistent. Maybe just an odd writing? BioWare made an excellent job regardless.
