The endings are a true dissapointment to anyone who cared about developing relationships in all parts of the series. Dragon Age 2 endings seem to be a good idea compared to this crap.
Liara, you will be missed

Not only that but the Romance with Liara in ME3 is better than the one in ME1 and ME2 combined.
Who cares if they don't get to be together in the end? You don't get to see that part anyways.

Really? It's the same as ME1, with the minor exception that it doesn't make any sense now - how did they go from "marriage, old age and a lot of little blue children" to having separate bedroomsNot only that but the Romance with Liara in ME3 is better than the one in ME1 and ME2 combined.
Edit: I cannot comment on the ending without massive spoilers, so skip now

As for the ending, the grim reality is that Liara will have been with
Shepard for a few months in ME1 and a few weeks in ME3 before ending up
stuck, alone (after the rest of the crew die of natural causes), on a
random planet for the remaining 800+ years of her life (assuming that
she doesn't die of starvation and/or trivial infections first) with no
hope of rescue.
That's not a fate I'd wish on anyone, much less a character I might have grown emotionally attached to over the last 5 years

After having the endings spoiled, and my Shepard not import, this is the final straw.

Did everyone get the bug where Liara doesn't remember the cabin reunion in LotSB?
After having the endings spoiled, and my Shepard not import, this is the final straw.
I did. I also just had the cut scene with Liaras project...for some reason..after I have romanced her with a character imported from ME1, stayed true in ME2, played Shadowbroker and rekindled romance, even reconfirmed that "Hey! We're still together right!?" - in the 'Project' scene, she still is like "I've been a bad friend..."....
This just strikes me as odd. Anyone else get this or is my import messed up? As she did -NOT-refer to shadowbroker events at all at any point.
I'm trying to make peace with ****ty endings, but give me my blueberry muffin of love before EVERYTHING turns to crap, since you forgo little blue children bioware!
Yeah. I'm cranky there are no little blue children. ( this could happen with the crappy endings still..but..not holding breath on dlc) Break my heart foreshadowing.

The journey is broken, Mac! Thanks a lot for all the sads! My life was too happy before this!

The relationship is messed up Liara seems to have lost some of her long term memory midway through her relationship.
The middle of the romance is disappointing (and non-existent...which explains the disappointment).
It's starts and ends great, though.
But the middle is...bleh...I was kinda pissed that a Shepard in a romance with Liara *highlight for spoilers*
didn't get any extra dialog during the conversation with Liara after Thessia fell to the Reapers. That scene was the worst for me. Shepard wasn't very comforting.

And I agree with ruka... the marriage and children line feels like such a cruel tease now.

regardless we should all keep hope that this will be fixed by a patch/DLC if not this series has ended on a very very bad note.

Well, it's not Shepard that's breaking her promise but an act of God [word is that it's a bug and thus non-canonical]like Shepard keeping his/her proposal and promise to Liara during the cabin scene of LotSB
I'd suggest playing until the mad dash for the teleportation beam to the Catalyst [which is hopefully sufficiently dense jargon to not spoil things too much] as there's a FRAPS-worthy scene. There's not much after that.

*reads thru guide* Says we do get a bonus coverstation after YOU KNOW WHAT Jlb. Says its highly optional and you have to go to her room Immediately after THAT mission. She should be sitting on the bed looking at some vids/Data pads.
Yeah, I got that conversation...but it was lacking in ah... 'emotional engagement on Shepard's parts considering their relationship'.

I like to think they left it open to headcanon, and if so, there are plenty of reasons to be hopeful, but I'll ignore that for now due to spoilers.
From what I have read on the thread and other web sites how is it left open for head cannon no don't tell me not there yet made I'll agree when I see it.

I romanced Liara in ME 1+2 and wish to continue in ME3, however I took up Taynor's (sp?) shower offer after the chess game, now Liara is angry at me
I was just wondering if I had locked myself into the relationship with Sam, or if I can redeem myself by cutting the relationship off, or if I have to go back and not take the shower opton?
