I finished the game, the romance with Liara was very well done and resolved beautifully. It still has me a bit choked up.

I romanced Liara in ME1, kept loyal to her in ME2.

In ME3, imported my gamesave from ME2; talked to her between missions, talked to her on the Presidium by the cafe, she showed me her secret project in my cabin.

But after the second Priority Citadel mission; I got an email from Samantha asking me to play a game of chess with her.

Is there a way of me rejecting Samantha and getting back with Liara without reloading a past save game or do I need to reload a past save game.

I got worried during the "project" scene when she said she was happy we were friends - with no "we're more than that" reply.

When is the "date" scene?  BTW, i just finished the Priority:Citadel mission. And played chess with Traynor. No spoilers for future missions, just want to make sure I haven't missed anything.

I really shifted in my feelings for Liara after doing LOTSB. In my imported play I had romanced Ashley in me1 and tali in me2.

I just now did the more than friends part on the citadel with Liara and am glad that the option was available to me.

I am also prepared for the backfire that is about to come from Ashley and Tali haha.

Will it be fixed? the LotSB romance flag in ME3, I mean.

Will she ever remember we were together..?

It"s not a bug that always happen.  I started a new game with same Shepard only a different file.  This time I included all the DLC and Liara didn't act like they've been apart for years.  That is why the writer isn't sure if it will be fixed or not.

Writer said that a few pages back.

Ok... does this mean if you import another save file that it will work correctly? That she will recognize you are together when you see her on Mars?

It said I romanced her in ME1 but did not romance anyone in ME2

I did Lair before the suicide mission but didn't take her up to the normandy until after

Oh yeah... but the dialog makes it seem like you haven't seen her in years. It really throws a wrench into things. What I am wondering is if, as someone said earlier, if I load another save file... will it work? And is the dialogue different when you first greet her on Mars if you reconnected during LotSB?

Figured this would be the best place to ask this.
So, my Shepard romanced Liara in ME1, Thane in ME2 and got back together with Liara in Shadow Broker. I accidentally got Thane and Shepard together again when they met, and I'm just wondering if it's possible to still fix this situation or if reloading is the only option for saving the Liara romance.

Sulemania... I think you can still salvage it later. Not sure.

Does anyone know if the dialog with Liara is different on Mars if you import another file that says you reconnected with her during LotSB?

I'm starting to think that the LotSB savegame bug is making us miss a lot of alternative dialog during the first part of the game.

I'll put the below in "spoilers," because maybe some people have gotten to this stuff yet.  It pertains to the interactions between Liara and Javik.

Have the Liarafans discussed the harsh treatment Javik gives Liara?  I'm not buying that DLC, because I think it's a load of absurd hogwash, along with the asari-prothean connection.  I have my own "headcanon" that makes all this vanish.  Anyway, I saw a video of Javik accusing Liara and all asari of being lazy, and having squandered the gifts the protheans gave them.  He also antagonizes her about asari religion and culture, calling them stolen from a gift that wasn't shared with every species.

Additionally, it hurt me to see Liara so upset about Thessia.  She's a good friend to my Shepard, and I'm attached to her character emotionally, so it was painful to see her in such a state.

So if you do the shower scene with Traynor, is that it for Liara's romance, or can you plead for her forgiveness like the unworthy dog you are? :P I tried it to see what'd happen, got some angry dialogue from Li, and then couldn't select the 'more than friends' option on the citadel. With everything she and Shep have been through over the last two games, I'd like to think a bigger deal was made of stepping out on her toward the end.

I think it messes up Liara's romance, yeah.

I'm not sure though.  My Shepard had no desire to shower with Traynor in her hoodie XD

Supposedly only the initial dialog is affected. But being called friend for nearly half the game when we got back together at the end of LotSB is really the frakking pits. I shouldn't have to go through all that again just for new players who want to romance her. Once back together we shouldn't be staying in different quarters, and we dang sure shouldn't refer to each other as friend during several more intimate moments when two people in love would not say the same things they do in the game. That's just me I guess. Hopeless romantic and all.

I guess I also don't understand why he/she would even put that in the game. Obviously if the player reconnected with Liara during and after LotSB they want to be together with her. Why do something as silly as what he explains. It's only been six months from LotSB... I'm thinking they aren't going to have gotten tired with each other in that time. Doesn't make any sense to me.
