What scene did Liara say that because I got the bug at the beginning. I'm on my 2nd run now with my 100% complete ME1 and ME2 file.Stouny wrote...

So, we've had a statement saying that the initial interaction is bugged and that it doesn't register your actions from LotSB, it may only be one scene but the impact of the lack of that carries on for half of the game. To top it all it "might" get patched, but probably not... really? So, my question is: If ME3 is checking the wrong state key for the LotSB romance can we add that state key to an ME2 save as well as the correct key? There are already ME2 save editors out there, if we could find out what ME3 is looking for it should be possible right?
That, and a Shep and Liara together ending would go a long way to removing the bad taste that ME3 left in my mouth.
Import from LotSB works (well, it worked for me, Liara even referenced "the blue children" once).

Final conversation of the game during the end game or the last one you just did? I already completed the game, but I haven't recorded all of it. Yet.Stouny wrote...

The bug is from the first convo on the Normandy when Liara says they haven't been together for years and you need to confirm you still want to be with her. I have all the other comments about Liara being the SB. That one line is bugged, confirmed by Liara's writer.

"All those little blue children will be disappointed I didn't have a speech."
"We'll make up something nice for them."
And then I cry out in anguish.

For me it makes sense because I didn't use a file with any DLC on it. I used the end game save from my first run of ME2 and for me at that time I was renting it so I didn't even have Zaeed.kumquats wrote...
Really not everyone got the blue children line in the end? Wow, that makes me sad.
I am now working on 2nd run and this file has 100% done from both games. You might not get the blue children comment if you didn't do that happily ever after comment in the DLC. That makes sense.
And because I feel like sharing. Another pic.

What is everyone's opinion of Liara's reunion with Aethyta? I in the middle of trying to edit it down to managable chunks. I'll post a link if not two later.

You have to be perfect and do everything and have the highest score possible which I haven't done....yet. Oh I will get there. I need an ending where they are together. I don't care if they are stranding on some back water planet. Where in the hell was the Normandy going anyway?Stouny wrote...

I loved the reunion. And Aethyta is one badass Asari with great sense of humor.

My thoughts exactly lady. And why is my shore party on board? Did Joker drop by and pick them up in the middle of battle or what?
Your shore party is on board, because they got orders to retreat (from Hackett I think, just before Shepard walks into the beam). They probably boarded one of the escape shuttles took it to Normandy.

Where was the Normandy headed? It didn't land on Earth. We only have one moon and that planet has two.Stouny wrote...

I love the last convo between Liara and Aethyta when Aethyta gives Liara some commandos. Well, your too old to give you a damned pony. LMAO!!!
I also loved this line from the future father-in-law.

I have no idea why they jumped away to some strange jungle planet. That is the one part of the ending I don´t quite understand.

I'd pay for a DLC to expand upon their banter...yup.
They have an interesting dynamic XD

It's the only question I have about the ending. Sad and gut wrenching as the ending is for me. I do understand it, but they left Sheaprd behind. WTF? I think the first and last picture should have been the LI. Why think about Joker and not someone like Garrus? There is one thing that would make it better for me is a proper epilogue. Even DA:O style would have worked. Maybe there is more to these characters down the road. Who knows.Stouny wrote...

Since the ending I've seen so far as made every story I have AU, I think I am going to continue that path. I still have finished stories still to post. I need to finish up one I was working on.

My main 2 playthroughs romanced Liara in the 1st game, whilst my Sheploo romanced Miranda in the 2nd (my FemShep stayed faithful). I cant picture Liara with my Sheploo (gna have her FemShep exclusive) so I ended it. Now shes being a **** with him. I feel so guilty!
Aw.
I might only do runs with femShep and not do any of my broShep. I think I have a femShep with Ash alive instead of Kaidan. Maybe my renegade femShep. I'll have to check on that. I know that none of my files with Liara as the LI as any romance from ME2. I've already checked.

It's all meaningless, anyway. She ends up stranded on that other planet somehow, and you either die, or are still on Earth.
1) if you died, you died for HER (you probably said so in one of the conversations)
2) if you survived, you only need to rebuild Earth, rediscover FTL (really fast FTL) and go get her
In any case, I bet that Liara is already pregnant.

Not all stories need to have the fairy tale ending.DrDetective wrote...

I'll be honest. I cried and felt it for hours after finishing the game. I like the ending better for this than I did for Lord of the Rings happy Hollywood ending when the ending in the book was anything but.
I've alrady headcanoned Liara being pregnant. It might be the first story I write when I get back to it. Probably in a few weeks. Still working on things mentally before I put it down.Stouny wrote...

Problem with #2. You have no idea where Liara is and no way could you search them all.
