so I just went to the last 'nightmare' Shepard has and I was listening to what 'they' were saying, quite creepy hey not to mention that Shepard seems to be the only person to see that child even when he is leaving Earth, soldiers just passed by that child as if they did not see 'him'. Must be some sort of indoctrination and personally I don't believe that Bioware will give us an ending without an epic encounter with Harbinger, he was barely mentioned in ME3
Now you're thinking... but wait! : there's more!
Listen to the kid on Crucible... closer... the underlying voice.
Why did you go through galactic readiness, fleet, and ground assult asset gathering and not use them 'yet', but for minor support on the Crucible and local support on the ground to get you to the beam.
Why could you not argue with the 'kid' about the Geth (if you saved them) or Edi (small letters as she is fully sentient now)
Control and Merge - why are they pushed at you...
Shep to TIM on control: And what if you fail. We're all dead
Merge: What is a Reaper? Bio-Tech
Destroy: What has been your goal since ME1?
All synthetics: Oh my, sacrifice. After all you did for Edi or the Geth if you saved them...
"Hostages only work if your enemy cares that they live."
This is about organic life first (renegade). But the kid trying to pull on the heart strings of Shep for not wanting any sentient life killed, especially one's she and Legion helped, and her friendship with Edi... Hostages of the heart only work if you fall for the facade being pulled over your eyes. (Paragon)
Illusion of choice. The entire scene is a device of control, not a horridly poor, lazy ripped off ending... it's you being fooled. Indoctrinated. Take the red pill.
STAY FOCUSED Shepard! What are you here to do? What have you always been trying to do?
Too lazy and tired to spellcheck.
