I
found it Thought provoking. it made me hopeful again. oh god i need
hope! bioware dont take it all away!! My optimism is all ready
shattered! Give me hope! Wont somebody please think of the little blue
children! ....bah.,

^This could work actually.

Does anyone else expect there will be a high rate of ME3 trade-ins? I'm tempted to, very tempted in fact.

You just gave me hope.... <3

If the ending is dream and Shepard wakes up on earth in London he must destroy reapers at once and for all in DLC huh? xD

Hey guys, it's me Korkki, I'm back in the forum. Had to switch to my Origin account so that I can post here :pinched:, that's why I'm using a different profile now, but it's still the same old me ;)

Just finished ME3, 7AM this morning, played through the whole night. Atm, I just feel so very empty, sad, confused and disapointed! I really don't know what to say, I'm speechless. The whole ending was so wrong, so wrong. I thought I would finally get my happily ever after, bondmate ceremony and little blue children, but obviously no. Pretty much the only thing I was really hoping to see in ME3 was the conclusion for Shep and Liara's romance, well I got my "conclusion" it just really wasn't what I hoped for... I'm just saying this is so wrong, Shepard and Liara just deserved to be finally together. Now we can't even speculate what they'll do now that the war is over and people can't write fanfics about it or anything. And the ending wasn't terrible simply because I didn't get my romance conclusion, it was terrible in any possible way.

The game in whole wasn't terrible, there were amazing moments (might have even dropped a tear or two along the way... :?) But right now it just feels that all the three games have been pointless. I really don't feel like replaying.

This is just so very wrong, that's all I'm saying. Good to be back in the thread though, hope we'll manage to keep the thread alive even though we don't really have much to speculate. Don't want to lose the most civiliced place on the internet ^_^

Since we dropped to the 2nd page. I want to ask a question.

What was your reaction to Shepard saying to Liara during the Sur'Kesh mission when the yahg got free and Shepard said, "There goes the future Shadow Broker."

I started laughing and Liara didn't find it too funny.

I was kinda disappointed we didn't get to fight a wild Yagh, although somehow I like them as a species, strong like five Krogan combined and smart as three Salarian combined and shaped by a warrior mentality. Maybe, since the Reapers ignore technologically primitive species, if not stopped by Shepard they could have posed the hardest challenged the Reapers ever faced during the next cycle.

I have to admit the whole gift scene was suspect, especially if you consider what she says before.(With a lotsb import.)

END GAME SPOILER BELOW.

Liara:All those little blue children will be disappointed I didn't have a speech.
Shepard: We'll make up a good story for them.

OH GOD, that's heartbreaking. Does this line trigger even with the LotSB bug earlier in the game? The one where she thinks it's "been years" since they were together?

We know how you feel. :crying:

Honestly I was very pleased with how Liara was handled in ME 3. Her dialogue and character were well done for me. If I were the guy that wrote her character I'd be broken to see that all the effort made in making her character exceptional was completely messed up by a disgusting and lousy ending.

that's because that is not the real ending, have some faith and replay the ending... ask yourself does this all seem logical? not to mention the disturbing voice underneath the Catalyst's(the child) voice, I am pretty damn sure that Shepard was hallucinating.

We're talking about the same guy who thought loading every squadmate into a shuttle for a mission to nowhere was a good way to let the Collectors kidnap the crew. He'll sacrifice common sense for drama every time.

that might be a representation of how Shepard wanted his crew to be safe, do you honestly believe that they would throw away all these characters just like that as if they meant nothing? do you seriously believe that they would implement multiplayer and galactic readiness when it never really mattered? feel free to believe in what you wish, we will see the real ending in due time

does anyone know if it's true? I've had some conversations about LotSB with Liara but I still had to go through the 'more than friends' option

I'm in the same situation like you. I imagine very good ending for my Shep and Liara. When I spoke with her before the last attack she told me "all those little children will be disappointed I didn't have a speech" I was optimistic about the end of this story at this point, but when she want to give me gift (that was tearjerker in the end of dialogue) and she's last words beat me to the floor - "it can also be way to say farewell"

I want a beautiful ending like other 90% players, because Shepard & Liara story can end with very good ending, not depressive!

It's true. She recognizes that LotSB happened, but not the romance.

Quite a kick in the *BLEEP*

Go to a save you have before any of the dreams.

Ask yourself why that brat kid that for most marines would mean as much as any other innocent person. Why that kid?

Listen... Just shhh, and listen... listen to all the dreams.

the voices, they just keep talking. they won't shut up! I have to do what they say...

Listen very carefully to the last dream.

It's a bug. The person that worked on her has not verified it, but did say she flaged something in ME2 that should have triggered the romance picking up right away. Hopefully, because she was alerted to it being a problem, it will get addressed in the first patch. That or we'll have to wait for a verson of gibs compatible with ME3.

so I just went to the last 'nightmare' Shepard has and I was listening to what 'they' were saying, quite creepy hey not to mention that Shepard seems to be the only person to see that child even when he is leaving Earth, soldiers just passed by that child as if they did not see 'him'. Must be some sort of indoctrination and personally I don't believe that Bioware will give us an ending without an epic encounter with Harbinger, he was barely mentioned in ME3

Now you're thinking... but wait! : there's more!

Listen to the kid on Crucible... closer... the underlying voice.

Why did you go through galactic readiness, fleet, and ground assult asset gathering and not use them 'yet', but for minor support on the Crucible and local support on the ground to get you to the beam.

Why could you not argue with the 'kid' about the Geth (if you saved them) or Edi (small letters as she is fully sentient now)

Control and Merge - why are they pushed at you...

Shep to TIM on control: And what if you fail. We're all dead

Merge: What is a Reaper? Bio-Tech

Destroy: What has been your goal since ME1?

All synthetics: Oh my, sacrifice. After all you did for Edi or the Geth if you saved them...

"Hostages only work if your enemy cares that they live."

This is about organic life first (renegade). But the kid trying to pull on the heart strings of Shep for not wanting any sentient life killed, especially one's she and Legion helped, and her friendship with Edi... Hostages of the heart only work if you fall for the facade being pulled over your eyes. (Paragon)

Illusion of choice. The entire scene is a device of control, not a horridly poor, lazy ripped off ending... it's you being fooled. Indoctrinated. Take the red pill.

STAY FOCUSED Shepard! What are you here to do? What have you always been trying to do?

Too lazy and tired to spellcheck. :P

Regarding those hallucination thing theories... I know we've beaten the odds before, but getting there... I don't know, gang.

Yesterday I dismissed it prematurely, thinking someone is desperately attempting to rationalize the situation. Today I actually gave it a thought and now I see eye to eye with you. I mean, yeah. It does make perfect sense. Shepard breathing without armor during final conversation, falling from the orbit to survive and so on undoubtedly feel off. Waking up, not losing mind. Heck, regardless of what lies ahead of us I am glad we've reached such plausible conclusion.

It would be marvellous if the miracle would happen next week. Issue I've here is how anti-climax and emotionally manipulative that whole thing would be. And what's then? Another hour or two of struggling? What about music and voice actors? Is this some kind of conspiracy?

"Seriously, if you people knew all the stuff we are planning...you'd, we'll - hold onto your copy of me3 forever" – now, in the context of our theory... Gives me hope.

Anyway, I still believe we can win this, this way or another.

So, *group hug*. I firmly believe there is a time and place where Liara & Shep may be happy together.

Believe it. We've been Harbingered by BioWare. Some will be sour from it, but most who can appreciate their own inability to catch the foreshadowing should be ok. That has to be the majority of ME fans. Not only Shep, but WE as the player got bunked by Harbi. I loled

With a book people catch this faster. It's easier to miss with an RPG that had **** awesome combat... splits your focus. If Liara was any more attentive. My Shep would be dead.

It took me 48 hours and little sleep to start piecing this together. I didn't even have the game to test my theories because I uninstalled. I just reinstalled a few hours ago and it's plain as freakin day.

Too Much OT!!! classic Liara fix!
