Yeah, there were a few lines in ME and ME2 that she sounded..... bored I guess? I can't think of any time this happened in ME3 too. Though I do prefer Meer's voice during the first 20 minutes or so of the game.

Yes, bored or in some cases (especially paragon / renegade choices) "overacted", if that makes sence.

And there's of course that infamous line when she talks to Jacob allthough that was a problem of direction / production and not Hale's fault without a doubt

No comment there, Jacob always gets the worst romance.

Anyway, back to Liara, did you guys prefer Ali Hillis's performance on ME, ME2 (and LotSB) or ME3?

Yes it is, and FFX also knew how to do the 'creepy-kid-thing'  PROPERLY.

As for Allis best performance. Hmnn,  I would say it's LOTSB.

Yes, but out of all the romances she seems to give the most effort towards Liara's, and Garrus's.

I didn't see Garrus's romance, so I can't say anything about that, but with Kaidan and Liara she did a very good job.

Kaidens romance was alright, but it was certainly no Yuna and Tidus.

So true. Damn kid was overused on ME3. I mean, Shepard's dreams? Alright, I can see why he/she would have such dreams, but making the Catalyst assuming his form is just too much.

Hard to say. I can't say much about ME3 yet but overall I liked her best in LotSB. Personally though I think that there is a distinct difference in the voice between ME and ME2. She sounds breathier in ME2 than in the first game. Well you could say that she "grew up" and so does her voice...I kinda liked the cute voice in the first part though

I can't decide between LotSB and Thessia's mission on ME3. Though I might end up prefering LotSB.

Well, Liara was very naive back in ME, her voice reflected that perfectly. After Shepard's death, Liara matured considerably, and she can be ruthless if needed, something I don't think she could be in the first game, again, her voice reflects that very well.

Thanks for replies, I guess I will try soon. :) It appears that people prefer the FemShep's voice acting.

Just an update regarding the LotSB rekindling savegame issue. I went to the ME3 save editor thread and asked what the flags for Liara's romance plot were and they're the following ones:

14169,6927,6931,6815,7051,7035,7151

The LotSB one was 7035, which effectively I had it set as "false" in my save when it should have been set to "true". To fix it you need to:

- Download the ME3 save editor from her: http://svn.gib.me/builds/masseffect3/
- Open it (the executable is in the \\bin folder, the file with the pink square icon).
- Once in the program click "Open" and choose your career (the savefile you want to edit).
- Go to the "Plot" tab (the one with the heart).
- In the "Bool" box, type 7035, click the "Is Set" checkbox next to it and then click the "Set" button, if done correctly it should tell you: "bool 7035 set to True (was False)".
- Then click save and choose "Save to Career".

Always make a backup of your saves prior to editing them, of course.

The only time I prefer Meer over Hale is during the first 20 minutes of the game, when you talk to Anderson, Vega, VS and the Alliance Council. After that Hale's delivery is just mind-blowing.

That's just a matter of taste. Some people like Meer while others like Hale, it's as simple as that. I myself am a maleShep player but I have nothing against femShep or Hale ^_^.

Man, it has been almost two days since I completed ME3 and I'm still shocked and feeling sad. For me ME series was as much about defeating the Reapers and breaking the cycle (or so I thought until the last 3 minutes of the game anyway...) as it was Shep and Liara's love story. In ME3 everything was finally just about to be perfect for those two and then they got separated again, for eternity this time.

No happy ending for Liara and Shep, no more ME games to wait for and to hype. I'm a sad panda atm.:crying:

Gotta play ME3 again though, I just have to give myself some time before I can do that.

Great to hear that! Is Hale the voice actress since the very beginning or ME2?

I guess I will begin new take on trilogy in a few weeks, can't wait to see interaction between femShep and Liara.

Hale voiced Shepard all three games.

AndroLeonidas, as far as I know yes, go to the thread and ask if there's a version for consoles.

http://social.biowar...index/9776690/1

p.S. maybe you can use that tool to convert savefiles to convert yours to the PC save, edit it and then reconvert it to the console version.

I knew your nickname looks familiar! Can't find you on Origin though...

BTW, does anyone have issue with war assets avatars?
"I am writing due to the absence of any portraits in War Assets section
on my profile. Indeed I activated the game profile after my walkthrough,
but all my in-game achievments displayed immediately, so I can't really
imagine it causing a problem. Any tips?"

I want some splendid Asari!

Chriss0978 would be my Origin ID. :)

I think that you need to promote the character to make an portrait here on BSN, never tried, so I'm not sure.

Edit - Wrote import instead of promote, sorry.

Argh... no I have to start again from scratch...

- In the "Bool" box, type 7035, click the "Is Set" checkbox next to it and then click the "Get" button, if done correctly it should tell you: "bool 7035 set to True (was False)".

That would be "Set", not "Get"

Will this change the whole romance or does it only affect one dialogue?

Quick question: if you get the time capsule-scene (with "I Was Lost Without You" playing), does that mean that I've somehow been ninjamance'd by her? I honestly can't remember if I chose a somekind of romantic dialogue option when I spoke to her earlier in her office... :?
