I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but if someone told me back while I was playing ME1 that I'd like Liara, I would've called them crazy. She was downright dull.
Then ME2, LotSB, and ME3, and she's definitely one of my favorite characters, right up there with Garrus and Tali. I was really surprised at how she developed.

Bah. I used the ME3 save editor to edit the tags, but Liara still gives me the 'It's been years' line. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Yeah, her development over the series is amazing.
And in the end when she shares her memory with Shepard, that was sickening sweet.
I'm with you with Tali and Garrus, walking in on them, was my favourite moment on the Normandy.
Well expect for all the Liara moments.

I support Liara for ME4.

To be honest I don't know if I'm missing any flag, but you can find the alternate dialog in the audio files and yes, it's only one line what changes.

Hello guys,

just finished the game - just would like to share that I love the game because of the all Liara scenes - they are the best and very emotional...when she said to my Shepard that she loves him...I was like awwwwwwwwwwww lol and the love scene - amazing!!!

Is it too much to ask for a better ending though? I'm still hoping for a DLC...

So I just started a new game by importing a save from ME2 where I lost a load of people in the suicide mission. Looks like reducing the squadmate pool gives Liara a fair amount of extra dialogue; lacking Garrus on Palaven's moon meant Liara came along with Shep and Vega to get the Primarch, instead of going back to the Normandy to check on EDI.

You and me both. I really wanted those blue children and the bondmate ceremony . But I don't really think there's going to be happily ever after ending coming, no matter how sad that is. I'm still shocked because of the ending and it's been two days since I completed the story... Shep and Liara just deserved to be together after all that.

Well they are working on dlc that involves singleplayer. They mentioned a few bits on it going with the story. Other wise they wouldn't be saying to keep your saves. The story is not over in other words.

There should be a banner that says "I support blue children" i would use that

Totally agree with you cohina.
I won't lie I've even cried a little after the ending...I know I'm crazy...

I think between us we should write our own ending and make it our canon. Obviously two versions, one with "he" and then one with "she" to cover both gender Sheps. It may be the only way we have the ending we all want.

And then tim tried the controlling the reapers theory? And failed. (indoctrinated)

Also, Liara telling off Jack at grissom with her real name was kinda funny (playing my damn m!shep for a round).

I haven't been able to play the SP since completing it once.

If alternate endings (or some other solutions) aren't released later down the line I might just end up replaying the game all the way up to Shep's chat with Anderson on the Citadel and then just alt+f4 my game and headcanon the rest. It still baffles me right now how Bioware could make such a good game right up until the last five minutes and then make the most horrific slip-up with that annoying kid who I didn't give a crap about appearing at the very end.

If that's true...it's very good news!

Btw. I have to agree with those fans which say that the love scene with Liara with all the lights etc.  - that it was blue baby making!  

Oh jeez how I like Liara's character...and Ali Hillis voice!

There's nothing wrong with that. Hell, I have never cried when watching a movie or anything and I really can't remember the last time when I've cried, but I admit I dropped a tear or two in the end, when Liara said farewell and all that.

*sighs* I just really wanted that happily ever after it was the only special thing I hoping for...

I did have a playthrough that had a romance with Liara in ME1 and ME2, but I slightly lost interest in her character when she became the Shadow Broker. I just wasn't convinced that it was characteristic of Liara to accept a role that differed so much from her traditional education. However, seeing her helping Shepard in ME3 as the Shadow Broker, and seeing those wonderful romance scenes, I'm definitely going to pick up that career again.

I think Saren was already heavily indoctrinated at that point.

I support Liara for ME4.

My male Shepard romanced Tali, so I didn't know she and Garrus got together until I got to that point on my FemShep playthrough, who romanced Liara. I can't romance Garrus. He's too much like a bro.

All I wanted was my shepard to have a somewhat happy ending with Liara, whether it be them going off to an isolated planet that the reapers would never reach and repopulate, or beat the reapers, and maybe even have Shepard find a way to increase his lifespan to hers.
