One thing I have always wondered...Are Asari tentacles squishy? I've always wanted my shepard to poke one, just once to see if they were squishy or not.

I wouldn't think so. I'll be honest, looking at Liara's skin texture I would have thought Asari skin would be a bit tougher than our own.

For whatever reason I always thought I could poke one of their tentacles and it would be squishy...

They might have some give.....otherwise I imagine sleeping on your back to be rather uncomfortable as an asari ^_^

Wasn't Joker asking Liara that exact question? If she can move her hair "tentacles"?

Don't know what the answer is though, since I told him to leave her alone. Anybody supported Joker regarding that question? :o

I'm never supporting Joker on that.  I will always have Liara's back.  No matter if she is that Shep's LI or not.  Hell, I may have all my Shepard's be with her since we can get with any of the LI in ME3.  Well, expect for the ME2 LI that are not on the Normandy.

Just a theoretical question to everyone in this thread. Lets say that Liara and the Normandy did not end up being stranded on the nameless planet in the ending (instead they just crashlanded on Earth), if so...

How would you people react if the very last scene of the game, instead of being with an old man and his grandchild. Instead was with Liara talking with her young daughter?

Would have made the ending way more bearable in my opinion.

That would have made it such a great difference.

That would depend.  It seems that it's been several generations since the end of the war.  If that part didn't seem so far into the future, I would love for the ending to be Liara talking to her and Shepard's daughter.  But then that would make everyone outside of Liara fans rage more than they are doing now about the ending.

Seeing Shepard gasping in the end does give me a few ideas for some better ending with Liara and Shepard.  Might take me a few more playthroughs to get a complete story going on in my head.

So apparently I completely missed out on the hugely significant dialogue with Liara's "father." Wow.

Easy. Don't set it so far in the future, don't frame the story as hazy innacurate legends, and have a version for each LI. Some of them would be telling stories to their own kids, others to adopted kids or someone else's kids or whatever. If you didn't have a LI, use Joker, EDI, or something like that.

I just ran into Aethyta in my FemShep playthrough. She looks...younger.

I should have of course added that it this ending only should have happend if Liara was romanced. The dialog when they talk about Shepard would also be different

Anyway I would like this ending alot more. Even through my Shepard was dead, I could end the game knowing that Liara managed to move on and had a child. And since the ending takes place an ambigious amount of time after the ending, the child in question may or may not be Shepard's daughter.

Thanks! I'll check it out. It drives me nuts, though. That would have made my frequent citadel visits so much better. I kept expecting her to have something new for me. This explains why she never did. :P

There are some lol moments from Aethyta comments and Liara's reaction to them.  I'm glad they talked.  I didn't like that Aethyta was spying on Liara for the Asari Government.  And in a way threatened Shepard.

Welcome.

She appears after the mission in the Salarian homeworld and disappears after you do the next main story mission.

Even in the dead Shepard ending that I saw first.  The first thing I headcanon was Liara was pregnant with Shepard's child.  Even though I didn't get the blue children comment from her on that run.  Did get it on the run I finished a few hours ago.

She is gone after the Cerberus coup attempt.  I actually wanted to talk to her again, but couldn't

Bioware needs to make an option for Liara and Shepard to run off to an isolated planet for the ending, and then repopulate the Galaxy, maybe bring some the Normandy Crew along to make it easier

Holy crap.  I haven't been off for about a day and I don't remember which page I left off on.  Damn.

Loving all the Liara pics though.  I finished my 2nd run and got the Shep lives ending, but Liara is still on the Normandy.  Sorry, Joker, I had to kill EDI in order to kill the Reapers.  I hope you understand.

I got a slightly different final cabin scene with the LotSB rekindle than I did without the DLC being done, but not by much.  Nice to see the slight difference.  I loved Tali calling Liara the Shadow Broker.  :P  I didn't have Tali in the 1st run.  I doubt I will do an no import like BW said we should do.  I've seen what is set up for it and why would I want to do that?

I curious about what your Shepard's response to this....
Image IPB

Liara saying that EDI respects Shepard's privacy unlike me line.  I kept thinking, Liara, this might be my cabin, but as far as I am concerned.  It's our cabin

Did you edit the save or just replayed LotSB without picking any of the extra dialog?

You know I really just wanted a quick 30 seconds at the end. I thought Shepard would die...saving everyone else, yet, one more time in the canon ending.

I thought we'd get something quick like this (except in the unicorn ending)....
* After the battle or after the credits......
5 Years Later
Liara is standing in front of a memorial for Shepard with wonderful stone work, and a statue about 1 1/2 times Shep's actual size..
Liara gently runs her fingers across the memorial stone.

Liara: "I miss you."

Little Girl: "Was Daddy really that tall?"

Liara reaches for the girls hand..
Liara: Slight chuckle " No....but He/She was that handsome/beautiful."

Little Girl: " Motthhhherrrrrrrrrrr..."

The two start to walk off hand in hand...

Liara: " Did I ever tell you about the the time your Father......." Voices fade into awesome music....

Something like that (but more elegantly written) would have worked just fine for me...

Well, according to Javik just one Asari can spring an entire Asari colony

I loved when Shepard was on his bed with Liara looking up at space having that very conversation. That entire scene was amazing in my eyes and it just showed the love Shepard and Liara share so well. Even the facial expressions were enough to show it.

I always wondered why the game auto-saved when you veiwed the video(At the shadow-broker base.) now I know why. I didn't import a shep that had seen the vids..urrgh *Facepalm*

The Romance scene is best if you have a loyal playthrough. Just starting a romance, gets the lamest scene.(You don't get the I love you bits. at all)

Also if you cheated with Garus, Liara's greeting on pavalin isn't as freindly.(If memory serves me correctly.)

I wouldn't be suprised if after those endings, Liara goes insane. She was too busy with hunting the SB through most of ME2, so she got little time with Shepard. Then when she does get time in ME3 Shep dies again.

Man I wish the dubs were up already.. T-T

I would have loved this. I've never been one for head canon, but the ending of ME3 has me head canoning a little blue child so darn hard.

Then I would pay 10 bucks to be able to do that, especially if it meant when I got to Star child I could give him the middle finger, and walk out epicly  and say "Blow up the Citadel!" Causing Star Child to die and lose control over the reapers and leave all the reapers clueless.  I then take Joker, EDI, Garrus (I guess Tali to), and Liara of course to fly off to some unknown world the reapers will never reach and start an Asari Colony, A half-cyborg half-human colony (Joker and Edi), and a half turian half quarian colony (is that even possible?).

Happily ever after, the end, best ending ever.

Since you can pick which save within that character file, I picked the file that I had from the ending of ME2 without any of the DLC, so I didn't have any DLC characters or anything else in that import.  Then I imported my 100% complete file and that had everything done from the other two games.  There is a slight difference.

No LotSB, Shepard tells Liara "I love you" first.  LotSB done, Liara says it first.  That was the only difference so far.  Trying to compare the two videos, but I'm having PC issues again.  This laptop is POS.
