When people started saying Liara was getting worse ending treatment then other characters, I was thinking she was going to have a forced death, or breaks up with Shepard at the end despite loyalty.

Now that I know the real ending, I don't think it's that bad. I just wish there was more closure to what exactly happened. Because Shepard being alive doesn't matter to me.

As a fan fic writer, I need Shepard to be alive.  I think I can work something with them apart and then reunite them in several decades.

I love the look on Liara's face in this scene.  She seems content and very supportive and at a time when Shepard seems to need it the most.

EDIT:I agree TMA, Liara being alive is what matters to me the most.  I feel guilty that Shepard broke her promise to always come back.  But I also think Liara knows what is at stake and Shepard might not come back.  That was never mentioned.  Just the blue children.   And you only get that if you did the LotSB and picked that during the cabin scene.  My first run, Liara didn't say that.  I didn't record that run, so I don't remember what she said exactly. :?

Even BioWare can't break through Liara's "plot-armor"... I'm not complaining, but Liara really got the best treatment on all ME games for me (ME2 only if you count LotSB).

The ending was really disappointing IMO. Not because Shepard died, I can understand that perfectly. However, the Starchild and the reason he gives you to justify the Reaper's actions is extremely disappointing, not to mention absurd.

I just see the ending as a tragedy. Shepard promised he's always coming back. And then breaks that promise, in order to save her.

It is a tragedy, but a realistic (in terms of being possible to happen in the ME world, not RL) one, so I can deal with it. The rest of the ending leaves too many questions without an answer, and gives even more questions to make it even more frustrating.

Shepard asked Liara what she wanted and she wanted was for the war to end while there was still a galaxy to save.  She never mentioned once the promise Shepard made.  I really do think Liara knows there is a good chance, she would never see her bondmate again.

Thessia for me, even with severely damaged buildings. Would have loved to see Thessia before the Reaper Invasion...

Doesn't the crew of the Normandy get stranded unless you choose "control"? Either way, it doesn't make any sense why the Normandy would be riding a mass relay at that moment. What was Joker's destination? It's inexplicable. It's just a cheap way to separate the character. Headcanon's the key to the ME3 endings, yo.

I don't think he was going through a mass relay. I think Joker was just flying at FTL speed. Because Relay shooting is instant.

That's an excellent point.

That poll made me remember Wrex's hilarious comment in London "Shepard, your planet doesn't look too different from Tuchanka". I found myself laughing and agreeing with good old Wrex.

Liara's reaction to what is happening on Thessia got to me big time.  More so than seeing Earth getting it at the beginning.  Then take Javik with you and OMG, Liara's reaction to him on Thessia is priceless.  Javik was an ass to Liara for most of the game, but I still liked the character.  Actually, I liked all the new characters.

Only thing I need to think about now, is what to do with my femShep that likes boring men(Kaidan/Jacob) with Jacob cheating on her with Dr. Cole.  Do I say screw it and go back to Kaidan or say screw it and go after Liara.  :police:

I'm almost tempted to have all 10 of my Shepards to be with Liara.  I don't like how Kaidan talked to you at the beginning of the game and I'm sure the lines are the same with Ash.(Haven't had her in a game yet).

Okay.  Then what was he running from?  The "blasts" from the Crucible aren't blasts at all.  Look at the soldiers on Earth in the cinematic.  They look kind of shocked as the wave passes over them, but it doesn't knock them back..  It's more a "wtf is this" thing than a "I'm getting hit by a concussive force"" thing.

And also it'd be nice to see a render of the Thessia done not with the game engine but with 3D Studio or whatever software BioWare uses to make the trailers. The difference between the in-game Earth and the trailers Earth is breathtaking.

Wrex made me laugh the whole game.  I love that krogan.  Grunt too.  Same with Garrus.  I'm glad he hooked up with Tali.  They make a cute pair.  I picked Sur'Kesh for the poll because of the great humorous lines during it.

"There goes the new Shadow Broker."  LMAO!  Damn Shepard, Liara didn't think that was too funny though.

It's a chore to  'not romance' liara. I did one playthrough of ME2 loyal to kaiden, and Ididnt bother with any side quests, and only enough loyalty missions to get through suicide run.

Perhaps he was running away from one or more Reapers chasing the Normandy, not necessarily evading the bubble. Maybe the Normandy entered the battle (thus losing its stealth) and the Reapers enganged it.

Yes, thank you for also thinking of this, TMA! It's good to know I wasn't the only one who thought of it.

Since the ship was merely going at FTL speeds, rescue is entirely possible, as long as they can get a signal out.

Oh, and I reloaded a save before the endgame decision and picked Destroy. It made me feel a lot better.

Sure, EDI and the geth died, but Shepard lived. And where there's life, there's hope.

I think he was flying from it, because he didn't know what it was. And because it hit him while flying in FTL, **** happened.

Yeah, Thessia's mission was really one of the most touching moments of the game, and Hillis's voice was just perfect. About Javik, well.... I kind of wanted the Prothean to be more of an scientist or something of the sort, and one that lived before the Reaper's invasion, mostly because I wanted to know more about their culture, customs, etc.

I saw Kaidan's romance on youtube, and it kind of surprised me. I expected something worse, so very worse, yet I liked it very much. I'll just say this about Jacob - BioWare screwed him up. Bad. I mean, first there is his romance on ME2, which I don't need to explain, and then they come up with him betraying Shepard, and getting the other girl PREGNANT after six damned months?

No, I will never see that ending nor will I watch it on YouTube.  I know I had it high enough for the squad to live, but not Shepard on my first run, but I'll always have Shepard alive from now on.  I do like MP enough to keep that number high enough to have that ending.  I don't know if you can get 5000 without MP.
