TIM has to assume that Shep is going to go to the base after the trial, regardless of whether or not you romanced her, as that is the only place that probably has more information than he has.  It would be the best place to either take revenge out on Shepard for not following orders and/or cripple the resistance by blinding it's information network.

I for one will go there as soon as I can regardless to try and explain to her that I want some company since all i got last game was a DLC.

That's why I only have her with E.W. Shepard ... I can't even stand seeing her with other Shepards, even ones I created. I've watched Youtube videos with other Shepards and when she says her lines, I'm like "What? How could you?"   "Liara! get away from that imposter!" Then when I go back to my Liara game and she stands there all smiling ... "I got your number blue missy! And how could you kiss that ugly ass dorky looking Shepard? Really? I'm hoping that after Shepard is gone she finds someone else, settles down and has her blue babies, but I don't like thinking about it. 

Wouldn't want you to forget that and become obsessed like others would we? *Cough Talimancers *Cough*

I feel the same way about Liara finding someone else. She's been so much at a young age she deserves to have happiness in her life, for the next 150 - 200 years it'll be Shepard of course (optimist with the age I know) and after that, she'd probably find a new love eventually. I'd like Liara to be happy, but I just don't want to THINK about Liara being with someone else.

I have a very strong feeling Cerberus is the one to go after Liara at Hagalaz.  Which, to me anyway, is a major reason why she is now with Shepard.  This is why.....link  If I can ever figure out how to put pictures on my post, I would have.  


EDIT: I finished off another run last night or what I am doing with that Shepard anyway.  This was a Shepard that stayed faithful to Ash, but the comment is the same if you romanced Liara or not.  

I don't see the reapers going after hagalaz seeing as it's practically in the middle of nowhere. Cerberus is out to get Shepard and they've been seen to use emotional warfare. What better way to hurt Shepard than to hunt down his love/good friend. I'm actually hoping for Cerberus to destroy the shadow broker base eventually, or Shepard doing it (after Liara is safe of course). The secrets of the shadow broker must never fall into Cerberus' hands, and this way I won't have to worry about Liara going back to the base after ME3=]

The story I am posting at fanfic.net, and is in my siggy, That is what happens.  Sorry spoiler there sorta.   It seems that you and I are thinking along the same lines when it comes to the base at Hagalaz.  We can speculate for the next eight plus months on what happens.  I hope they, BioWare, don't spoil everything.  I want to be surprised at things and have a NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO moment like I did at the beginning of ME2.  I didn't know anything about what was going on and only had heard rumors that Shepard was dead.  

I just don't get how some players want to stay with Cerberus or think they are good people.    Liara can always go back to Illium and be an information broker again, but keep some of the Shadow Broker information before the base is destroyed.  LIke the vid of our bull rush reporter getting kicked, punched, then kissing an asari to use against that woman if she decides to play dirty with Shepard again.

Asari learn to cherish the time they have w their bond mate because they know most of the time they out live them. Though it being said said in a post before - the bond connects people beyond death?

In my story, they live on Illium.  But that is just me.

If I remember correctly, Liara said something about the bondmate being a part of them after melding.  Now I am almost tempted to replay ME1 over just for that type of info.  :happy:

After fighting off the reapers hopefully most of the criminals in the terminus systems have been destroyed so I don't see much use for spectres for a while. Besides, after all that's happened my Shepard is going to take a break, probably resign from the spectres and live with Liara. Of course he will stay in shape, wouldn't want Shepard turning into a sissy now would we?

A nice place for both of them to settle down depends on how ME3 turns out. If Shepard is recognized as a hero throughout the galaxy I think Shepard should live on earth. Other possibilities would of course be Illium or Thessia or the citadel though I'd prefer living on a planet. Still I think they'll do a lot of travelling together to newly colonized planets or planets with nice sights to see.

I had to make up a planet for them to live on (in my unwritten post-ME3 story).  I agree that they'd want a culturally active place, but it'd have to be planet-side for Alice (nothing less for an Earthborn).

if possible my ending for my canon shep would have both shep and li to live and eather work on colony or go off somewhere. would still do a few missions here and there but mainly start up a family and live out days  doing some paperwork for alliance but probably just be someone placed in a possition like admiral or some think also here is a thread i liked to hope Bioware sees it or creates something like it.

wait i know that we brot this up earlyer but i was thinking about listing the facts but still right that shep wont be there for liaras entire life span.

1.)codex Humans live to about 150 with no enhancments
2.)Genetic enhancments (military or what ever that makes them helthy and skinny)unknown age liment extended/shortedned
3.)Cibernetics extended live (lazardas Progect)
4.)bone, musile, skin weaves that make them stronger/tougher/durable may linkthin life span (known ME2 Upgrades)
5.)strong will and good health

from what i see shep could live about 160 to over 200 years not sure about all enhancments or if they found a way to slow mind/brain deterieoration

I wouldn't be surprised to see Shepard passing the two-century mark before she passes (assuming her lifestyle doesn't get her prematurely killed).

Well, Ashley said to Liara she hoped she'd look as good as Liara when she was 106. So clearly 106 years old is a breeze in the ME universe. Shepard says 'we're lucky if we hit 150' which means the avarage lifespan should be lower. This isn't exactly supported by the codex which states the avarage human lifespan rose to 150 and is expected to get A LOT longer in the near future due to technical advances made after first contact.

I think by the time Shepard reaches 120, (in 90 years, by comparison humanity has only been part of the galactic community for 30 years) medical science, implants and other stuff has advanced so far that the average human lifespan may have increased to 200 with Shepard probably living well past this because of all the implants pretty much supporting his organs, effectively making his body last longer.

Edit: Recently there was a discussion on increasing human lifespans and some scientists claimed the first person to reach the age of 150 is already alive today(not sure how serious it should be taken, but it's something to think about when saying 'there's no way Shepard can become 200 years old')

Liara would want to teach the kids some defensive Biotics. Shepard would want them to be able to fire a gun at young age. With that kind of education all of Shepard's kids will one day become asari commando's
