As a phantom I had to kill.  That's not Jack.  Even Shep said so.  

The terminal where Shepard finds out more infomation about how she was rebuilt was nice and I loved how Liara commented on it.  She knew it was really Shepard.  Too bad Sheaprd never talked to her about it.

After a Liara fan saw the ending I made, they asked me to create one with Liara at the end instead of Tali. While it is not my best work, I post it here for your viewing pleasure (or torture). Hopefully it is satisfactory!

Hi there. Just saw my first ending, with my imported ME-2 save. I didn't romance Liara (from the Genesis comic) in this one. But I dont really understand the mind meld scene before the big fight. Can some1 explain that to me.

Guys do you know the conversation between Liara and Shepard at the end. Liara mentioned "blue children" something something...

Could you post the conversation here? I forgot about what it was because I was in "awe" and can't find anything on youtube now.

Yes, sorry, much like Morinth's cameo (not a spoiler... how did you think letting an AY go would work out?).

Can't find a link for that conversation, possibly because it's largely impossible to manually save during that part of the game. It's just one line though - Liara says that "all those blue children will be disappointed [she] didn't have a speech", Shepard counters that they'll make up a story and the gift scene plays.

I can vouch for that. She says that even if you are not her L.I, I think.

I'd recommend just watching the Liara/(M or F)Shepard vids on YouTube from ME1. I play on PS3 so that's what I did. Lots of things made more sense after that. Unless you plan on playing ME1 someday.

Pick the "investigate" option (0:45 in doozer12's video), it's not a love scene as such

Wait a minute. I got that line (in your link) but part of this video was not in my scene. She merely said "a gift" and I "accepted" it and then she grabbed my face and we go into the spacey place and then a white light....no words, just that...

Yes that was the line about the blue children a wanted to hear. Thanx for posting the link.

The scene is really beautiful - everytime in the game when I've heard the "Vigil" theme music it was so emotional for me... Since ME1 the Vigil theme is my all time favorite song from a game serie - maybe next to Ezio's Family from Assassin's Creed.

I love the little callbacks this game puts in.

Quick question: in my version of this scene, Liara didn't say the "haven't brought in many wounded" dialogue, it was more like "a lot of these soldiers won't make it". Does anyone know what changes it to say that?

I only say it because she says "i'm giving you a gift" or words to that extent. Then all she does is give Shep a kiss, so i'm guessing that flash of light is the transfer of DNA that happens to make an Asari pregnant. Either way, thats some additional head canon for me, Liara was pregnant before he gave the Reapers a kicking!

Well, when I accidentally skipped the Council dialogue by mashing space the VS ended up dead, not sure who took the shot.

That was my 1st reaction to the gift scene as well; however, the investigate dialogue makes it quite clear that that wasn't correct.

If Liara reacts properly in her investigate hub - the conversation with repeatable questions - to whether or not you completed Shadow Broker, the initial line is a one-time thing and much less likely to get targetted in a patch.

Is there any chance you could tell us what PlotID the initial line is checking? Even if it's the wrong one we could edit it into our saves, I would really like to have my Liara romance carry through. The fact she seemingly forgot is really jarring.

What are everyones thoughts,on, well, the colours.(Thermal colours if you want to be more specific.)



(The freaky colours happen with both a mshep and fshep.)
