Nice one, and it actually makes sense. "Once you get to the child, you'll burn", notice that in the previous dreams Shep never catches him.

Yeah I thought that the facial expressions and kisses were done really well. They clearly put alot of effort into getting it right. Usually developers opt for not showing characters lips touching simply going for a from behind or side on view, but Bioware did a great job. Despite the atrocious ending, i'm glad we got that scene. It was by far one of the most touching and emotional experiences I have had in gaming. Especially when they tell each other that they love each other this happened --->doozer12 wrote...

. I think we need to realise how lucky we are compared to everyone else. We got the best of the romance scenes by a long way.

Really? You don't see it? The choices Shepard made through out both games carry weight in ME3. If you didn't activate Legion or sold him to Cerberus you can't resolve the conflict with the geth and quarians. If you saved the genophage data or not matters big time to the krogan.Arlionis wrote...

Also, how would all of you have felt about the ending if the "control" choice would NOT include the destruction of the mass relays?
It would be a huge risk and definitely kill Shep, but with the payoff that galactic civilization could stay more or less intact and our sqaddies had a chance of living the rest of their lives in relative safety and peace.
I know that would leave many of the endings' problems unadressed but at least it would paint the last, big choice in slightely different shades of grey instead of coating everything with the same tone of doom and gloom.
(I actually misunderstood the space kid in my first playthrough and chose the control option with exactely the above in my mind - what a huge WTF?! that was when the mass relays blew up anyway

That is a good question. Considering it is what TIM wanted, I doubt she would like it very much. From now on, I will always pick destroy. I don't want to control the Reapers nor do I want to turn everyone into part organic part synthetic. For me it's destroy those Reaper bastards and allow the species to evolve naturally. Which they did not before now. They were pushed by the tech(mass relays and citadel) down an unnatural path. If Shepard can get the geth and quarians to live in peace then it is possible for the chaos to not happen in the future.Lizardviking wrote...

Choices do matter on the galactic readiness scale, makes it easier or harder for the end game best ending scenerio... its just that final BIG decicion that leaves you with...nothing. Thats the mind boggling part. Shepard destroy the reapers! Its what we set out to do since me1! but suddenly reaper AI kid god says otherwise and shepard goes... oh. ok. Ill just..do what suspicious AI tells me to. yawn. so tired. *in pops a DA sloth demon!*

Example, if you don't tell Miranda about Leng, she dies from her fight with him because she wasn't prepared for him because she thought he was dead.
The choices in the other games do not matter when it comes to the ending, but they matter a great deal in how prepared you are in retaking Earth. They do matter. I have already lost war assets because I punched out al-Jilani and told Allers no to being on the Normandy.
Every little point counts. I have one Shep that is going to be screwed big time once I import her. She is with Liara and I doubt very much I can keep her alive without playing MP to keep my % in the 70's or higher.
On my next playthrough i'll make sure to get plenty of screenshots of my custom male Shep with LiaraYuqi wrote...
