Wlecome back Deventh
you know they should have had options in the dream sequences on who you run to - the little boy, L.I, someone influential from your past *shrugs*

Wlecome back Deventh*pats* sorry about the ending

Anyway I felt Bioware missed an opportunity in the last nightmare.
Imagine
if it starts like usual. Shepard finds himself in the forest, and a
child appears in front of him. This time however the child is more
formless in the start and seems to have a girl instead of a boy. Shepard
begins to chase the child once again (the child also seems much more
happy in this nightmare, laughing and such).
As Shepard catches
up, the child runs towards a couple. Revealing to be Liara and Shepard,
Shepard stops and stares longing at the scene.
However, the
iconic Reaper sound soon pieces through the dream. And in the distance a
Reaper destroyer can be seen. Shepard is frozen in horror as a laser
beam slowly crawls towards the family. Turning them to ash. Dream ends
as it reaches Shepard.
Just an idea I had.

^Thanks. It's not like i don't like how they made it, but i hoped for more player choice than what we got. It seems whatever we did we would end up in the same situation. It also leaves many things unanswered.
Think about it this way. How does your Shepard want civiliation to continue?Arlionis wrote...

Yep, exactly, and it's a shame because your choices do seem to matter during the mid game, the problem is just the ending.

I think the first two are about what Shepard has lost. You hear the VS in the 2nd one. It's the 3rd one that has me puzzled. It could mean several things.Grunt Lord wrote...

Uhhhhh.... sure. Sure, she does.jlb524 wrote...
Then, Shepard wakes up, right? Right?

For ****'s sake people.... your making me weepy
Which they very well might do. We will have to see on it. They took a risk. Was it worth it to them? That remains to be seen. The ending isn't keeping me from importing all the different Shepards I have. After seeing what the default it for ME3, I doubt very much I will do that. I was planning on it, but I doubt it now.PMC65 wrote...

And that is part of the problem. You have a fanbase that has been right with you since 2007 ... making choices, becoming emotionally invested to give an ending that leaves them feeling empty & unsure of what the ending meant.
That is not a success unless you plan on giving them a final push.
"That's what fanfic is for" or "You are just too stupid to understand" is an absolute fail for an ending. They must have something in the wings.

No, you're fine. You should get a message from Liara about meeting her on the Citadel. That is when you can tell her you want more than friendship. You should also get messages from Kaidan/Ashley, Javik(If you have the DLC), and Garrus as well during that time. Garrus was a fun time.Rammastus wrote...
I admit, I started the series with ME3, but I definitely like it.I just got past the 2nd citadel mission, but none of the options to romance Liara has shown up. I've looked up at ign's romance guide and according to what it said, I've done everything. When she came to the quarters for her project, the more than friends option never appeared. Did I do something wrong?
