Yeah it would've been nice to see an established relationship right from the get-go but I guess they didn't have the resources to write two romance paths.

For Liara's Project, what do you have Liara put down as who Shepard was?

I had her decide for herself. And loved what she thought of you. It's cool to finally be referenced as a biotic who charged into battle. And someone who tried to make peace when he could.

I did the same and got the same. The "charging into battle" was especially accurate due to my Shep being a vanguard. :D

I loved that scene, I know I keep saying that about everything, but it's true!

I like to think all the Reaper stuff, and her Shadowbroker work have her shut down emotionally. that's how I'm playing it in my head.

Damn that brittish speicilist and her sexy sexy chess... I will be faithful! *Shakes fist*

Meh, Sam did nothing for me. Even as a friend. I didn't really care about her character.

Sam was my ManShep's shebro. I liked her a lot, she got really good character development.

The project scene- I also let Liara pic. My soldier was a great warrior blah blah. I didn't like how early that scene came so when Liara called me a friend, I was all like "Just a friend? Hell naw!"

The "Don't worry!" part gives me a lot of hope.

Ok, my hopes have rose again. I can't help myself. Someone please give me a antihope pill STAT!

I couldn't even think about accepting, in fact my reaction the first time I saw the option to join her in the shower was to yell at my tv and ask Traynor what the hell was she thinking, because there is one incredibly powerful Asari 2 decks down who will be pretty mad at her for even attempting to make a move a on my FemShep and might try to make sure all that's left of her would fill a tea cup.

Well that's what you'd expect, but I gave Traynor a try in one save, and all Liara said afterwards was something along the lines of  'SHEPARD I KNOW ABOUT YOU AND TRAYNOR. GO AWAY.' ;___;

My first playthrough - i was kinda miffed at her for interrupting Shep and Liara. Near equivalent of a jokerruption. Bah.

I should have ended my ME 3 right here. That'd be about as happy an ending as I would get I suppose.

But about the other characters flirting with Shep and all that, why on Earth doesn't anyone else acknowledge that my Shep and Liara are.... bondmates? With the exception of a funny prod from Javik, I got zip. FemShep was doing the whole Lola thing with Vega too, although I suppose she was teasing him more than anything else. It was amusing to see how flustered he got when she called him out.

Oh, LOL.

[Sur'Kesh]
James: Hey, maybe once this is over, you and I can go toe-to-toe.
Wrex: Shepard here almost did. She ever tell you about Virmire? We had a... disagreement. *laughs* Good times.
Liara: Eh, heh... *Sarcastic* ... The best.

What's this about a data pad and Liara? Can someone fill me in?

Getting ready to repost a revised first chapter to my fanfic as well. It acknowledges many of the changes we hear about in the game.

When Vega called Shepard Lola in front of Liara I could see the "chat" the two had afterwards. Image IPB

There a "datapad" iOS tie-in app, which included text messages from the crew as the game progresses.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Just saying they like feedback is all.

Enough antihope for you? Now give some to me! Because a little blue children DLC has my money racing towards it.

*comes back into the room and shakes the empty bottle of anti-hope prescribed pills* wth...this was full when i left..
I highly doubt little blue children will be mentioned again or seeing a little blue Asari on Liara's arm (as cute as seeing an infant asari would be..), it would leave no room for interpretation in regards to Shep/Liara relations and future D'aww moments. Too concrete of a move - even that bondmate comment is up in the air to be whatever we want it to be. Itll never be written in stone.  Marriage and Pregnancy shouldn't be in video games etc etc....

How was that?  Im off medication so it could probably use some work.

Except, in this whole thing where choice is supposed to matter, where it's been said time and time again that what you choose affects the things around you, when cementing an alliance between two sets of races that hate each others guts is set in stone, you can't give Shepard the one thing in the whole universe that could make her happy? 3 years, 3 years my Shep fought tooth and nail to defend the galaxy from the Reaper threat. She lost her life once, but thanks to Liara she came back, got better. 3 years, my Shep made the hard decisions nobody else wanted to make, but they usually turned out for the better. 3 years, my Shep wanted to be with Liara, and that one little thing, after doing so much for everyone else, is to be denied?

It's the conclusion to the series, the end of her story, you'd think there would be a little room for an ending.
