I think the timing of these messages are off (the one from the Virmire survivor implies they are still in the hospital).

I think they are to be sent when you get to the Normandy for the first time.

So...I guess Liara is telling you that she prepared your room for you while you were gone.

For a minute, I was wondering if something was added in there.

You know, if they do do anything extra with DLC (besides a new ending), I'd like an romance item to be added to the room after doing DLC mision. I kind of miss the picture that was in ME2.

I've got the data pad app she doesn't send that until after you've spoken with her the first time and confirmed you still want to be with her. There are no post game messages I know of, any that come post game is the app probably getting confused by another playthrough or an earlier save.

I'm just going to leave two links here to theories/ interpretations about the ending in ME3. They actually make a lot of sense and well, they give hope. After the ME3 ending I'll take what I can get. Anyway I would be interested to hear all of your opinions on some of the ideas about the ending.

There can't be post game messages because when you regain control, the only mission you have is the Cerberus base. Which means Earth hasn't happened.

You just have to talk to both of them at the bar on the Commons,

If her father doesn't show up, talk to Liara first there, then save, and reload.

Uh, I honestly don't know. I suppose you need to have done the Conrad Verner quest on Illium? Then maybe watch the LotSB videos. If she appears at the cafe then I suppose things can go as per usual.

But I only have the one "canon" Shepard, and she's in Liara's pocket... So I can't answer for non-romanced Liara.

Pretty sure you get that when you first visit the XO's quarters (with a mini-cut-scene). Definitely not post-game.

Just popping into this thread to join the masses in declaring my love for Liara & the Liara/Shep relationship. It was so well done, and exceeded my expectations (both the writing and the acting...love the chemistry between Hale & Hillis).

One question that I can't find the answer to...a few pages back, there was some talk about a glitch re: post-LotSB dialogue not coming up properly. Is that true? I thought the conversation where Liara says something like "it's been years since we've been together" was odd, since in my mind Shepard & Liara reunited in LotSB.

I'd be both happy and sad if there was supposed to be LotSB-specific dialogue there...happy because it shows the writers didn't screw up, but sad because I missed what the dialogue was supposed to be.

So, anyone know what the dialogue should have been, if this is true? Thanks for the info!!

OK.  That might have been the problem; I never saw Aethyta in the Commons.  I'm gonna go ahead and hope it's not linked to the Conrad quests because I shot him in the foot in ME2   Thanks for the help.

You have to have seen all the SB videos.

Edit: Aethyta is only there between Priority: Sur'Kesh and Priority: Tuchanka I believe.

Yes the lines repeat once you've heard the whole combo. No you can't interact with her again after. Apparently it doesn't come up in conversation between Liara and Shep either weirdly enough.

If you got Liara and her father talking,great lines there kept walking around and coming back till they started to repeate..After an attack,Liaras Father is no longer there is this a bug or does she return later?

I don't think there was supposed to be any LotSB specific dialogue. I saw on another thread that bioware confirmed there was a bug with the line "it's been years since we've been together" as that shouldn't have come up if people had played the dlc. I doubt there was any specific lines for people who had played the dlc though. I imagine extracting the audio files is the only way to confirm that, to see if such LotSB specific lines were even recorded.

There's a LOTSB line what's not activating despite using a LOTSB import. It's a bug.

She's never there the first time you go to the Commons...but if you go to another area and go back, she appears.

There is that moment with the consort in ME1 that was brief but cute. And while she does say that jealousy is a human concept this is also the same gal who says that the asari let go when a loved one dies. She doesn't always exactly follow the "asari" way it appears. Cheat on her in ME2 and her responses don't sound "ok Shepard. I'm happy for you ... If you need me just let me know."

On the subject of cheating ... I'm wondering how a Liara pushed to the side interacts with Shepard in ME3. Does she try and get back with Shepard? Anyone know?

Until Bioware says different here isa what happened to my Shepard. She was fighting indoctrination with everything happening after she was knocked out to waking up was her struggle to keep control of her mind.

Ash had pulled Liara to safety after both saw Shepard drop ... Liara was begging Ash to let her go to Shepard but Ash refused. Thanks bud!

That's my ending of the frickin' game as I see it. Did the secret weapon work? Were the reapers really destroyed? Where is Joker and the Normandy (Liara is still on Earth so the flight/planet thing was part of Shepard's hallucinations)?

So many questions that ME4 will answer. Can't wait for Shepard's story to end. What? No Shepard Mass Effect 4?What the ....
