I missed it. Trying to keep up with the posts. Provide my love and support to the hopeless and play ME3. lol This is tough tasking to manage and my game play time is paying the price.

TIM gave Shepard the intel to give to Liara to go after the SB. The end mission statement in ME2 after completing the DLC says that Liara took over for the SB and TIM is keeping an eye on Liara's relationship with Shepard. He knew when the change happen.
TIM picked a good time to go after her. When Shepard is being held on Earth and can't help her.
Umm, yeah... totally forgot about that!
Moving right along, did you notice Liara's crest was very..... shiny?!

Try me then, kilshrek, no avatar whatsoever, I only have one friend on my Origin list... evidently not my main gaming platform.

May just be taking time. I was looking right at your profile and didn't see you as on line. I sent requests to KSD, Hollow and a few others in your list. I had them in mine, but got overwhelmed with the ending the first play through and trashed then entire ME trilogy. I was mostly indoctrinated, but got over it in a few days.

On the Citadel: Renegade or Paragons, please dedicate as much support to an armed militia as you possibly can. Side with anyone pressing joining the alliance or a local force to bolster C-Sec. Support firearms sales to public. Use Specter status to smooth things like this over.
With the citadel captured, it will be waging a major internal battle against reaper minions. The internal defense needs to be at max if you want to keep people alive. That's why its an asset and the missions are there in the first place. Don't be sleeping on the job. This is war. We need every able-body armed.

There were a lot of bodies on the Citadel... And then it blows up anwyay. What's the point?
I did everything, I gave them all the cerberus tech I could find. I basically did every side mission, and they all still died. Everyone.

Know something we don't do you?
Anyway, I don't see any point in doing it story-wise, but if you're a perfectionist with those kinds of things, like me, you'll do them anyway.

How do you mean, no point story-wise? There is every point to do it, the Citadel is the seat of galactic government, of course you want to make every effort to ensure its safety. How Cerberus managed to deploy so many men to the Citadel without ever being detected is beyond me though.

My canon Shep was born on Illium before first contact. Hannah was Rescued by an Asari cruiser from a Batarian slaver attack. It's was all hush hush. Amy is very special. Very influential and persuasive thanks to her origins... and she had this uncanny ability to see things others didn't. (All Shep's do really. That is what makes them Shepard.)
Of course, this doesn't explain why she had trouble in ME1 and ME2 simply recording evidence with her omni. lol. At least she got over than brain fade in ME3.

My canon Shep was born and raised on Thessia, has consequently adopted many aspects of Asari culture, and is understandably attached to the Asari homeworld, so you can imagine her reaction down there. Sadly, all of that has to stay in our heads, but BioWare can't do everything.
Also, LOL'ed on the recording evidence thing.

that could be why it's just designed as a dreamscape instead of

I think this would have made the ending even worse.
"Liara and Garrus are running behind sheppard in the run for the conduit. Garrus falls over and Liara tries to pick him up. As he gets up, the two run and are hit by a laser as sheppard watches on without hope. In the final version (which is shown beside the deleted scenes video.) the body of your team mates are on the floor dead instead. "
