True, charity is just too much. It's a goddamn game after all!

About Liara's skin... I agree, it seems more like a lizard's skin than a snake.

Yes, and it's sad that they resorted to using a charity to do it.

I wonder what species of Lizard/reptile they might have used as reference.

What does Liara actually say if Shepard cheats on them with Traynor?

I'm also curious about this. And if there is any change in the Liara romance if Shephard was with someone else in me2. I played LotSB and though I continued mt romance with Liara, but in me3 she says "it's been years since we were together"

I know she says something about a ME2 romance, and confronts you with a 'are you still intrested in us.' As for Traynor, I have no idea. I know if you re-confirm with liara at the citidel date thing, it locks out the chance to 'do it' with traynor.

That's because the game doesn't recognize you played LotSB, there was a way to fix it like.... 40 pages back, I think?

As always, fans are overreacting, I mean, I absolutely loathed the endings, but demanding BioWare to fix it? It's their game, their story, they do whatever they want with it. The most we can do is ask, nothing else. I won't even touch the charity issue or I'll say something I shouldn't. I just don't know if I'm angrier at the fans's reaction or the endings themselves. I'll say no more on this topic.

Back to Liara - I'm wondering that too... Though I don't think we'll get any official answer on the topic.

I think Liara's going to get another alternate appearance, since the armor doesn't look like the current ones.

It's their game, their story, they do whatever they want with it.

Well, the issue is not so much that people are unhappy with the endings but Bioware making some specific claims about the endings that turned out to be factually inaccurate.

If you ordered a cappuccino and got a espresso instead you probably wouldn't be too happy either if they told you to get over it because of "barrister-y merit"

The fixes were as described here but don't seem to be sufficient to trigger the proper dialogue.

I bought the DDE and I think I have that armor for Liara, can't check right now but I'm almost sure I have it.

Had a save with a Femshep who completed the coup, so I have just heard what Liara says.

Liara tells that she knew about the two of them. She ends it with "Be with whoever she wants to be with, I have no time for games. And neither do you I believe.". All said in a rather bitter tone.

Urgh I felt dirty. But going to replay now with Liara of-course, have no intetions of romancing Samantha.

So that is supposed to fix it apparently? Through which file do we change the ID to true anyways?

Get what? The dialog?

Talk to Liara in her room after you completed one mission after cheating with Samantha. Then you should get it.

Although it makes me wonder if the people claiming that they continued the romance even after cheating went straight for the Citadel to have the romance-lock-in with Liara and managed to do it that way.

Liara's romance plot were and they're the following ones:

14169,6927,6931,6815,7051,7035,7151

The LotSB one was 7035, which effectively I had it set as "false" in my save when it should have been set to "true". To fix it you need to:

- Download the ME3 save editor from her: http://svn.gib.me/builds/masseffect3/
- Open it (the executable is in the \\bin folder, the file with the pink square icon).
- Once in the program click "Open" and choose your career (the savefile you want to edit).
- Go to the "Plot" tab (the one with the heart).
- In the "Bool" box, type 7035, click the "Is Set" checkbox next to it and then click the "Set" button, if done correctly it should tell you: "bool 7035 set to True (was False)".
- Then click save and choose "Save to Career".

Always make a backup of your saves prior to editing them, of course.

I copied that from one of the user's post. Sorry I don't remeber nick.

[edit]^

This fix didn't work for me. I did use the gibbed savegame editor, to make some changes, everything was working fine, expect for the LotSB fix.
Any ideas?

As I said, changing that flag did not trigger the correct dialogue for me - it's just one line though.

The more intimate Liara scenes were so well written and acted (the time capsule one broke my heart) that I ended up romancing Liara after my former LI Jacob turned out to be an ass.

Interesting post...does Liara say anything different if you had a ME2 LI and romanced her newly in ME3 by any chance?
