I hope so, I was thinking of maybe replacing the hospital scene where Shepard visits the VS. Replace VS with Shepard and Shepard with Liara for Part 1. Then the hospital scene where Shepard visists Thane. Replace Thane with an older Shepard and Shepard with Liara, and Kolyat with a young Asari, maybe the models for Rila or Falere for Part 2. Then just substituting that for the ending.

My femShep would do something like that, jib.  The walk would be in a park.  Liara can tell Shepard more about Benezia or her talk with Aethyta.  Shepard  can tell Liara about growing up a spacer with her parents in the Aliiance Navy.

Sure Joker would rather nail EDI than Liara, so don't worry about that.

What you should worry about is Ashley/Kaidan comforting Liara when she's feeling lonely!

Yeah, the middle part of the romance was actually poor IMO. Just a complete lack of emotions there. It felt like they designed it to fit as if the romance was "new", and not have it reflect the fact that Liara and Shepard has known each other for some time.

Bioware had a lot of time to make two dialogue lines - new for new romance and old romance. We had in game little conversation, this is not a problem to do more with continued romance.

The way the dialog triggered was annoying. It worked in other cases like the Asari commando with PTSD, but in this case the dialog should simply play automaticly when Shepard is in vicinity.

I tried doing that on a current game, it didn't have any effect on mine still said "Years" even though she acknowledged everything else from LotSB. So maybe scratch?

There's still one flag for Liara I'm missing, it's the one between the LotSB first part (7035) and ME3 romance (7151). Once I find it I'll report back.

Well, the issue is not so much that people are unhappy with the endings but Bioware making some specific claims about the endings that turned out to be factually inaccurate.

If you ordered a cappuccino and got a espresso instead you probably wouldn't be too happy either if they told you to get over it because of "barrister-y merit"

The fixes were as described here but don't seem to be sufficient to trigger the proper dialogue.

They are also saying that they left the ending in a way that you can have your own ending. So you paid for a game to "imagine" your own ending? I can imagine what the cast & crew did down the road but the final act of the game? Who does that?

The ending was unacceptable to many and they are voicing it. For the most part they are being constructive and civil with a few bad eggs in the lot. If Bioware comes back and completes the final act then the troop did what they set out to do. Get a proper end to Shepard's final act with the reapers.

And hopefully we will have a concrete understanding of what those final moments were even really about. Indoctrination? Real? What?

Until then ... Joker & Prothy have Liara on a tropical Island!

Or click on it like with other people.  That works too.

What do you think of Aethyta now?  I know you didn't think too highly of her after meeting her on Illium.

Remember when Liara comes in before Earth, or was it the Cerberus base?

Anyway she does say quite clearly she doesn't respect Shep's privacy.. So.. she must've thought some spycams in Shepard's cabin wouldn't be anything special. Hah, to think all you evil people blamed EDI for failing to control your own.. erm.. hormones!

Hah! My tactic would totally have worked in real life. classic.

I let Traynor have her shower, poor girl was lost. Although 5k credits for a new toothbrush.... yeah....

Y'know I was worried the other option for the shower was jumping straight to the funny business, the paraphrase was That's it, or something similar. Last time I tried that with the Consort I jumped straight into that little space capsule with her. Although that was before Liara, so it was fair game.

There may have been Kelly.... Thank goodness Liara didn't have spycams on the Normandy then... May have led to some very awkward questions. But she had been acting all cool at me before! Until I helped her become the Shadow Broker...

Romance scene is just perfect, but as always Mass Effect lacks the romance build up or flirting.

I was not a huge fan of Shepard deciding to make a speech instead of actually comforting Liara. It just felt so cold.

Yeah, I hated that. There's a lot about the middle that feels like Shepard and Liara should've acted more close, but are oddly distant.

What happens if you don't do the interrupt?

Same complaint here, the beginning and the end were really well done, but the middle needed more work. Also, I'd like to see more moments with Shepard starting to exhibit some PTSD like during the beginning of the game, where practically freezes at times. 

You could say that shows when the VS is hurt on Mars. Shepard freezes and Liara has to get in her face to snap her back to reality.
