Their reunion starts a bit cold, yes, but at the end Liara ends up calling her the best dad ever. So it wasn't that bad. I still would love to have her aboard the Normandy.

I was curious to see how Liara's face changed from Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 3 and compiled a picture of all four versions. 



I think that Liara has not only become a more mature, independent and confident woman (yeah, yeah, she's mono-gendered, yadda yadda yadda^^), but at the same time more beautiful and sexy compared to her innocent and socially awkward self in Mass Effect 1. She's really grown up.

Only.. Spectre? Saren blew up an entire colony, didn't he? Nobody doubted him. Btw I just love the little dialogue differences from the demo and the full game when I imported my Shep. Awesome.

Nobody really knows. Liara doesn't seem to care, so as far as we know.... she just went somewhere else?

does anyone else seem to get the idea that Shepard is supposed to romance Liara but it got cut in both of the previous games? Aethyta seemed to say something and if you do the Renegade action Shepard calls Liara "My girl".

It boggles my mind that some people didn't play Arrival/LotSB/etc.  Then again, Mass Effect owns my soul, and I can't expect that EVERYONE that plays the game winds up joining the BSN forums, TCR forums, and Twitter to talk about the game, write fanfiction, and play through the game a half-dozen times.

Shepard totally seduces Liara in ME 1. ME 2 Liara can be snacked on if you have LOTSB. ME 3

Well I played it all, but I think I was kind of dense when I said I didn't know why Anderson said what he said. Although, in my defence I thought I had my Spectre get out of jail free card.

I am not sure. When you bring her to TIM's base, she does have a moment where she reflects over "It is easy to think you have the right answer when you work in the shadows.". Sounds to me she has done things she is not exactly proud of during her time as an information broker.

I think Liara did alot of "dark things" while chasing the shadow broker. Sleeping with someone would rate much lower than killing or torture. So I see her doing that and more. Pre-Shepard she says that she never found someone to "meld" with ... but she gives a little laugh at the Virgin part.

Why we put so much stock into "physical purity" kills me. I don't think the asari put as much stock in that as we humans do ... that is why we consider them ****s. Physical pleasures is not the same for them. They can have that type of pleasure easily ... but that is just me. To each his own.

I don't mean to rumor-monger, but after the attack, the cafe owner DOES say that one of his waitresses got killed...  

I can't imagine Aethyta getting taken out by a couple Cerberus grunts, though.  Perhaps a faked death?

Yeah, but Aria? Even asari have standards... right? Seduction is more than just sex, it can be the promise of it, without ever delivering. Although with Liara's personality, I don't see her stooping to that level to get what she wants. I feel that Shep's straightforward attitude rubbed off a bit on Liara. Maybe more than just attitude.

I think that Bioware simply didn't care to explain what happened to Aethyta or forgot about her after the Cerberus attack on the Citadel. I wouldn't read too much into her sudden disappearance.

Since she's a headbutting half krogan asari matriarch, I believe that Aethyta is just fine and stays in the shadows, silently looking out for her daughter.
