Are they done by the same artist? Both are very nicely done.
And why is Liara wearing Cerb kit? Infiltration?
Not that I'm complaining, of course.

Liara joined forces with Cerberus in the comics to rescue Shep, but nope, she never wear one of their armors.

Y'know, I've almost never read a book where I wanted to change the ending. I always felt that whatever happens in the book happens for a good reason, and even if I don't agree with it, I'm almost always satisfied.
I used to read a lot of Gaunt's Ghosts novels, and when Bragg, then Corbec died, a little bit of me died as well. These guys were the pillars of the Ghosts, and they were killed by a thrice damned rat bastard traitor. But their deaths felt real, there was huge emotional impact and I read on, knowing that eventually everyone may die, but they'll die the finest damned heroes of the Imperium. I don't know how to describe it, it just didn't sting as much as what happens at the end of ME 3. Mind you I read the first 10 books, so that may have given me an equivalent amount of time spent on them as the ME series. Not once did I question where the author was bringing me.
ME 3, wtfbbq ending? The journey is awesome, it's arguably the finest ME game of them all. But with that certain knowledge that nothing you do matters, I really can't bring myself to fire it up to try out something new. There's no point. I'll play it up to certain points so I can play out the Liara scenes, the project and flatterer reward being my favourites. Let's not talk about the end sequence scenes, because.
I still don't understand how Bioware could not see how this would impact a bunch of us ... no one in their group had this feeling? Not one person saw the "lack of ending" and said "Uh, guys ... all these years and this is the conclusion? You don't think the fans might realize that this is not an ending?" No one? Or is there a few peeps at Bioware now saying "I told you so!"
But the Liara part of the story was great. No complaints there.

Yeah, she had a temporary alliance with them, only because they all wanted to get Shep's smouldering corpse. Silly Feron, double agents never get a good ending. He's lucky he met Shep, she always, rather used to always get the happy ending.

I've got 3 songs on repeat.
I was lost without you, I'm proud of you, an end once and for all.
I should stop this and expand the playlist again, it's rather unhealthy.

Yeah, the only problem is that ending that hangs at the back of the mind. It eats at me, knowing that it's all futile. That's why I'm retiring to headcanon. For now at least.
Whatever it was at Bioware, it's all done now, the time for recriminations is past, the time to fix it is still available. The wound is still fresh, the audience still here. If they move fast enough they won't lose too many.

What's the planet like? Should always get a name to suit the environment. Although that sometimes comes rather organically. I was never good at naming things though, so my input may not be the best.

Here's a quote:
"Inspiring and uplifting" riiiiightWe always intended that the scale of the conflict and the underlying
theme of sacrifice would lead to a bittersweet ending—to do otherwise
would betray the agonizing decisions Shepard had to make along the way.
Still, we wanted to give players the chance to experience an inspiring
and uplifting ending; in a story where you face a hopeless struggle for
basic survival, we see the final moments and imagery as offering victory
and hope in the context of sacrifice and reflection.
But also:
So there might be a tiny bit of hope left ...So where do we go from here? Throughout the next year, we will support
Mass Effect 3 by working on new content. And we’ll keep listening,
because your insights and constructive feedback will help determine what
that content should be. This is not the last you’ll hear of Commander
Shepard.
We look forward to your continued support and
involvement as we work together to shape the remaining experiences in
the story of the Mass Effect trilogy.

I'm not holding my breath for anything even remotely related to the ending to be honest, with the devs not giving any definitive answers about it. And yes, making up your own story is probably the best we can do right now. Hell, I have an idea floating around my head for a whole new ME story.

Planet is in a Pangia/mass continent state currently. the Continent has a large crater sea in the central left side of continent that is rich in element zero from an old asteroid crash. Is rich in pallidium in many parts of the world, with some Iridium. Many regions have fertile land while in the eastern part of continent is a massive Desert. the planet is almost twice the size of earth. Has 2 moons one close and looks big in sky while other is farther out. Can support Thessia plant life near crater sea but earth life further out.
Have an idea of a prothean library under sea that uses the spheres from the games as memory storage.
Fertile land colony - Curieston (Referring to Marie Curie) I have no idea, I just pulled it out of my bum really.
Desert colony - Denarakh. Deserts always seemed to sound better with A's about them. Sorry, it is a little late and my imagination is being occupied by... other things...
Hope it gives you some ideas though.
Unless you were looking for an actual planet name, in which case I dun goof'd.
