Yeah, I also had trouble importing my Shep. The choices and all imported just fine, but I had to recreate his face.

It seems this is a problem that happens when you import a face that was created in Mass Effect 1 and was not changed in mass effect 2. I completely reconstructed Shepard's face manually when I imported him in ME2 and the face imported perfectly into ME3, yet I hear people are getting the default faces when importing a Shepard that has not been tweaked in ME2. Perhaps this applies to you?

Ionno im still reeling from that stupid final hours post.  The evidence that this stupid ending was ...intentional leaves a really bad, forboding, hope suffocating taste in my mouth.  It pretty much killed any shred of hope I had for future DLC for me... or any sort of closure or explanation in regards to this entire fiasco.  Its basically a giant F U from BW to the player base because of our own (the fans) arrogance -  I mean the nerve of some people to request a better ending to something we didn't create.  You can't change art!  Gahd!  Wait...*frowns*

I am now going to try and write today ... The inspiration hasn't been there as I think of Liara on Gilligan's Island and Shepard dead? Alive? What?

Yes, I didn't change my Shep's face in ME2 so I guess there's our the problem. Not that it really matters, it was pretty easy to reconstruct the face manually, so it's not a big deal for me, but maybe they'll fix that.

That didn't come from BioWare, that was from IGN and was very misguided.

I think the end of ME3 sucks as well, but I see it for what it is... the beginning of the end. Once past the indoctrination trial, what comes right after if Shep survived will be the true closure; both for the war (still raging) and for Commander Sheps story. The outcry from the fans will also do a few very important and positive things. First, it will give BioWare food for thought on extra DLCs (based on consolidated and categorized feed back) that were not already planned. Second, the massive angly love will possibly keep Shep's adventures alive in stand alone future Mass Effect release. Just because the Trilogy is over, doesn't mean Sheps story is over. He/She also won't be a 'Commander' forever so 'Commander Sheps' story may be over, but what about Specter Shep. It will be interesting to see what happens. Quite a bit of what I began to see (due to my theory that the ending was indeed an indoctrination hallucination), as far as the possibly future/extension of ME3 has been hinted to by Casey himself. It may seem vague and limited, but why spoil what's to come with TMI

Oh! yay.  PCM Fanfiction.  ...man I cant even bring myself to read any still, nevermind continue writing my own.  *sighs* 
But headcanon, take strength in that I guess.  Gilligan's Normandy didn't happen!  It makes no sense being there, therefore the mind does not register it ever happening.  No evidence to support such nonsense.

I personally have no desire to touch the ending in fan fiction.  I just...don't know how to make it better and stay in the confines of the ending.

Omg thank you deventh. I needed those. I still cant get over how awesome the kissing animations are, espcially in panel 3 where she quite visibly deepens it. *swoon*

I'm only at the Saren portion of Shepard's story so it is at a much better place than the current ending. That at least makes it easier ... I understood that ending and it offered hope.

Perhaps, but I never changed any of my Shepard's from ME1 to ME2, so I don't know.  I know the two femShep's from ME1 I had to change but not my broShep.    

I totally changed my angry femShep that didn't get Liara until after Virmire.  She now has purple hair instead of red hair.  I don't rememer how I created her, so she is like a new character with my paragade choices.  I do hope the romance with Liara is done well like it was with my imported romance with Liara.

It is just me, or did anyone else want to knocked Vega out when he almost crashed the Cerberus shuttle into Liara?


At least Kaidan helped her.

Maybe she took her dad's advice and didn't do it all civilizied.  :innocent:  If you're doing it all civilized, you're not doing it right.

You just reminded me! I was actually furious that I didn't get to chew him out for that. But things got better from there, so it kind of slipped to the back of my mind. I can threaten Liara's dad for even implying that the Matriarch's might order a hit on Liara, but I can't beat the crap out of my subordinate for almost killing the whole team, including Liara?

I'd say the removal of too many dialogue options was to the detriment of the game, but not significantly.
